”Spend a relaxing New Year holiday in Kalavasos, Cyprus. The Library hotel was an excellent choice: the 3 lovely sisters managing the hotel to an impeccable job, the cook is fantastic and the masseuse is outstanding. The surroundings of the old mining village are idyllic, with the school and church bells adding an at times annoying but characteristic flair to it all. Very good value for money, excellent location for exploring the island. A car is needed, in winter most of the other establishments...

”Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating despite it coming towards end of season, room was spacious but could have been cleaner. The shower was amazing, great water pressure. Air con was loud but worked well. Loved the balcony and views of the sea, but the beach wasn’t very nice so we stuck to the pool, which was huge (and cold) but closed early. Food was nice enough for a buffet but would recommend trying out the local restaurants around the hotel to try real Cypriot food. The...
