”A quiet, lovely place to stay. The view from our balcony was amazing, watching the boats was so peaceful. Everyone was very helpful and kind. I loved we were away from the fray of the more busy, touristy section but still just a walk over the bridge to get to it. We will return.”

”The B&B is located perfectly near all the sights but still in a quiet neighbourhood. It’s super cosy and we loved our room. Breakfast was very tasty but maybe a little small. But that was covered by the excellent afternoon snack that was more than we could have hoped for! Overall very positive stay, would do it again!”

Ihana pieni hotelli vanhassakaupungissa,pysäköinti(ilmainen)sisäpihalla!Huone hyvä Suihku ei kovin hyvä mutta siitä ei voi hottellia moittia koko Yhdysvalloissa ei ole hotellia jossa olisi Suomalaisen mielestä toimiva suikusekoitin. Jos vierailen St.augustinessa joskus uudestaan on valintani varmasti tämä hotelli,suosittelen!”

”I had a wonderful five night stay here. The location is convenient but in a quiet area. Parking is included and an easy walk down a block and around the corner. I parked my car and never moved it. Everything is very clean and tidy. The staff is very helpful with all arrangements. The guests were all lovely and shared some good ideas about things to do and see. The real reason to stay here I think is the breakfasts! Lots of healthy creative flair! If you’re a foodie this may be the place...

”We go to St Augustine often as we live only 2 hours away and it is our getaway place. I had booked our weekend back in May of this year at another Inn that we always stay at. Upon arrival at that Inn, we found out they were closed and actually going thru renovation! ”Charm and location. The room we stayed in was truly like being home (we live in an 1892 Victorian) and we instantly fell in love with the decor. Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality. The "staff" was charming, beyond hospitable, and very proud of the quality of the experience created for the quests. One comes to St. Augustine because of the history and a desire to go back in time...

”It is a beautiful hotel with very comfy bed. The food at their restaurant is excellent. Walk is about 1-2 blocks to historic downtown. The only complaint is it can be noisy.”

The breakfast was fantastic, so fresh and yummy it was a really nice bonus to have that provided. I also loved having access to beach towels, chairs and umbrellas.
