”Our room had an awful smell like either smoking or urine ! I did tell the man at the counter but that was it! We had to sleep there 2 nights. We will probably stay there again as that was our 3rd time but I will request not to have room 12 ”

”My first room was well below par for a 'Deluxe Queen' by being shabby and numerous maintenance issues. The replacement room that I was given was MUCH better. The staff were attentive and helpful. Unfortunately some workers came to upgrade the mobile phone tower for the last 4 days of my stay and took over and blocked 1/2 of the car park day & night making parking very difficult (impossible at times) and inconvenient, BUT NOT the fault of Jacksons. Overall not the most relaxing or best of...

”Had a lovely night at CABN...the kitchenette while small was enough to cook dinner and then the stools and shelf-style table gave us a chance to eat while looking out at nature. The bed was comfy (tricky has one person did have to climb over the other to get out) but AC was super efficient for our 45 degree day and the shower was warm and had plenty of water pressure. And waking up to kangaroos in the front of our cabin was neat!”

”We had the most incredible stay at Mount Lofty Estate. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing and our room was absolutely beautiful. ”

”Room had zero soundproofing. Could hear the neighbors on either side, as well as the wedding going on all night behind us. The mini fridge made noise all night long as well. The door had gaps all around it so we were concerned about pests coming through, as well as the cigarette smoke from our neighbors drifting under it. Also the wifi did not reach our room so couldn’t even connect to it. Poor hotel for a beautiful little town. ”

”We weren't provided with the check-in info email as was promised. When we arrived there was no one to attend the front office and no one was picking up the calls either. The voicemail says "To leave a message please call again "..seriously?? I had to message Expedia chat line, which I believe was overseas but the other accommodation they offered me was 20kms away, which we couldn't do at that time of the night. Somehow I found another mobile number, rang and left a message. Luckily they...

”There was no cupboard space to put my clothes except to hang my coat. I hsd a rucksack, if i had a suitcaseit would have been hard to put it anywhere where it was out of the way. I was a single occupier with two people it would have been difficult to pass each other as the bed took up most of the space ”

”Spotless room, relaxed friendly and efficient staff. Location great if going to The Garden of Unearthly Delights or Glutony during the Festival. Breakfast was very good and well priced. ”

”the room was comfortable enough. no table and chairs to sit at to eat. bed over soft. no towel rails in bathroom. rooms only serviced once a week!”

”The staff are the biggest assert here, all 4 four front desk people I met were very helpful and friendly. No housekeeping service is different? If you remove that I think a laundry should be provided. I enjoyed my stay and most likely will return.”

The apartment was reasonably well equipped, but overall the condition of the property did not match the photos online and felt overpriced for what it offers. The building is clearly quite old, and several maintenance issues stood out.
