”Having to pay 20 person is absolutely ridiculous. Plus 20 for parking. 2 a piece for a can of soda. Beds were very uncomfortable. Getting woke up very early morning hours because of the noise in the hallway. Will never stay there again or recommend. ”

”The rooms are clean and comfortable. But communication is poor. I booked a room through Expedia and selected a room with photos of a king bed and pullout couch. When I arrived, I was told that my room only had the king bed and was asked if I wanted to upgrade. I asked to change to a room with either 2 queens or a king with a pullout couch. Then they told me they were at capacity and had no other rooms, but they could make the change if I came back the next day. This same conversation happened...

”The rooms are largely self-service as there is limited staff. However, the property is clean, in a great location, and Dana at the front desk is very helpful. Highly recommended.”

”Breakfast was good and was kept fresh and full. I was unaware of the $10.00 per night parking charge.”

”Even though I had to get my car out of the garage at 5:30 am the valet didn't show up until 6am. They could not find the second set of keys to open the Key cabinet so I was late for my surgery. The guy was working the overnight shift so it wasn't like he was starting work. Otherwise this is my hidden gem in Boston”

”We were there for 2 days and never had maid service! The 2nd night we came back around 10:00 pm, after being out since 11:00am, and no one had come to the room, to make the beds and replace used towels, and we needed clean towels! We called to the Lobby and 45 minutes later someone shows up at our door with one towel!! I personally went down to the lobby and got more towels. Not what I felt like doing after a busy day. I expected better from Marriott!”

”We've stayed here on a number of occasions visiting our Northeastern Student. This time was simply to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Location is great. Walkable to a couple of restaurants. Above normal continental breakfast in the morning. Limited parking on the ground floor (you need to have your room key to access BEFORE you try to enter or you'll get stuck on a very steep incline with not many options to back out. ”The hotel was very okay and underwhelming. The front desk people were not particularly friendly or attentive, but the room was clean, surprisingly spacious and did the job. ”My review is solely based on the room. On a stay of 4 days, I'd rate it at 3/5. Possibly a bit lower based on the cost. The room was decent, met our needs for the visit. Proper utensils, dishware and such were provided, kind of. I was surprised that the only cookware provided was 1 single pot, no frying pan or anything else. ”The hotel is clean and has a nice design. The shuttle service e.g. to Harvard square is handy although it does not return between 3.40-6.40 pm. Breakfast is great for American standards. Extra bed in three person room was surprisingly good. Biggest problem is the bar in the middle of atrium. If your room in by that atrium hole (ours was in 11th floor), you will hear A LOT of noice.”
