”This locally owned Villa and Cottage accommodations are great value. I stsyed in an ocean front room, great views and clean. This is a no-frills place to stay, no TVs but it has Wifi. There is an on-site warung/restaurant and the food is delicious and well priced. There are loads of warungs within walking distance and lots of drivers to take you into Candi if the 2km walk is not your thing. The best part of the stay was the wonderful staff. ”

”Room was nice and clean. Pool was in need of love but was great in the afternoon. Breakfast is continental and not good so don’t pay for that. Overall was nice for the price I paid which was cheap.”

”We booked the sea view suite (courtney love suite), but the smell inside the bungalow was moldy and we had trouble breathing. The manager was very quick in switching us to a private villa with a small outdoor kitchen and a private pool. And fresh air indoors, as well. Yay for amazing service! The only cons about this facility was suuuuuper slow wi-fi, but that was it. All in all we had an amazing stay.”

”I had such a lovely and relaxing stay at Alila Manggis. It’s one of those places where you can really slow down, switch off, and just enjoy the peace and surroundings. I came here needing a proper break, and honestly, I left feeling completely refreshed. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and respectful, and I really appreciated how welcomed and comfortable I felt throughout my stay. Most importantly, I never experienced any kind of...

”Great staff and location ”

”Place was horrible, restaurant was even worse. Personnel was nice, even without English. ”

”We keep coming back to this place! It’s nothing fancy, but it has a great view at the ocean from your room, pool or restaurant so basically everywhere. The staff are the friendliest (special thanks this time to Sudi ) and the food OMG the food is just amazing. It’s traditional and its s very good priced and always enough. Don’t forget to book your massages here they are one of the best we’ve had! We’d say after management change the room prices were set to high comparing to accommodations close...

”Yövyimme 5 yötä villassa. Hotelli vaikutti aivan ihanalta aluksi.

”I don’t know, how you others think this, but my opinion is that if one is in accommodation business, he/she has two duties to fill. The first one is to provide place to sleep and the other one is decent place to wash up. Everything else comes after these two. The first one was clean and it served its mission, but the latter one was poor. To begin with COLD SHOWER! It doesn’t belong to accommodation business. EVER! Even if we speak budget room! No! That’s it! Secondly, it doesn’t take much to put...

”Super endroit, juste la construction d'une digue, mais ça vaut quand même le coup.”

”Hotelli on rauhallisella alueella. Ravintola on hienolla paikalla. Netti toimi paremmin aulassa.”

”We stayd just one night after comeing from Lombok. Our room was in old building and seemed to be under renovation. Room was very small and old. Room and especially bathroom smelld like mould. Nice pool area. Good food. Breakfast was very good. Massage was good. There was restaurans and shops near. Hotel area was very nice. Only problem was our room. Villas looked nice.”

”When we arrived we went to reception and no one was there. We went looking for someone at the property and found a cleaner who came over to the reception, ask to see my booking and looked confused. She also wanted to see a receipt as they were not expecting us. Saw this in another review as well… so not a good first impression. We then had to wait a couple of hours for our room to be ready… we watched them and instead of cleaning ours straight away they went on their way and cleaned other ones…....

”Henkilökunta ystävällinen. Terassilla mukava istua illalla. Lähistöllä paljon ruokapaikkoja.”

”Super nice, friendly staff. Warung Bintang opposite was amazing food.”
