”Missed a TV in our room but the lounge was across the hall and convenient - just not in my jammies. The heat in our room was way out of whack! 75 degrees at one point and had to open both windows with winter conditions. Heard another couple had same experience. Hot tub was nice - bit awkward to enter, but enjoyed. Would have loved to experience the fireplace but who needed MORE heat! All in all it was a great opportunity to experience The Stafford for our anniversary.”

”Pool not working, Hot Tub looked not good. Ended up with a King size bed when we wanted two queen but that was a computer glitch from Expedia, and because I reserved through them, the hotel wouldn’t budge. ”

”The hotel downstairs entry area, pool and hot tub are all nice. Staff was friendly and the shuttle was very convenient for getting to and from the casino. There is a nice fireplace downstairs with a TV and couches for relaxing. However, there is no restaurant on the premises and the bar area they have is closed. ”Staff was super cool with our hockey family and allowed us to chill out in the pool area. Rooms were clean despite hotel being a little older & dated. Overall for rate & location great place to stay”

”No heat controls in room. They only turn it on if you complain.The outside of the hotel is covered spiderwebs and it’s filthy.Everything is neglected.This place is a joke.”

”the breakfast was good,although both my wife & I obtained a stomach flu later that day.We seem to think it may have been something airborne we obtained at this location. The motel itself could use a deep cleaning & a refresh. ”

”Nice place for the price. The bathroom was clean but falling apart (moisture made the molding pull away from the wall so kinda gross). Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected.”

”This is a wonderful place to stay! We only stayed the one night, but throughly enjoyed our stay; the in room balcony overlooking the tranquil river was lovely. We’ll be back!”

”We had such an amazing time at Cabins on Maple River. The cabin and property are absolutely stunning. The balcony over looking the river was so relaxing and peaceful. We did have a few very minor issues like the front bedroom bathroom sink was very clogged up but in a half hour i had it pkungered out and draining fine. The lights in the upstairs hallway were burned out so i bought some new ones and took care of that. Someone staying before us unpaired the remote for the back bedroom took a while...
