”Really liked the location on the lake. The grounds in some areas need attention. The tree limbs needed to be cut back so they wouldn't be in the way of the balcony. We could not use our balcony (second floor) because it had not been cleaned and was full of spider webs and spiders in addition to tree limbs. ”

”Location could use an update... only needed to stay one night, so it was fine. It was quiet, room was a little small. But fine for 1 night. Only 2 towels were in the room, there were 2 adults, so at least 1 more would've been nice. Lobby is extremely small, and a little sketchy when checking in late evening. But the gentleman working the desk was very polite!”

”If you're looking for fancy with pool and spa, this is not it. This is a clean, comfortable, basic room. Nice staff. Mom and pop type motel. Large room with tv. Firm comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and shower. We are booking this again in August for a concert in Hiawasse Ga less than 20 minutes away. Easy to get to and a couple of minutes outside Haysville NC. Excellent stay.”

”Great hosts and really nice accomodations. The ONLY issue we had was the bark walkway. I am visually impaired so the uneven bark was difficult for me to navigate. ”Although I do not Golf i decided to stay in Kingwood - mainly due to its location (ideal for my purposes) and other facilities. The area is beautiful, facilities and services are good and the staff was nice. The lack of microwave oven in the room was basically the minus I had. For a hotel gym, the equipments were good.
