”We have been coming here for the last few years for the Durango Iron Horse Classic tour. We stay in the cabins. The cabins are cleans, beds are comfortable, and the property is chill. The cabins have running water and air conditioning. Great bargain overall.”

”We used almost all amenities while staying here: the locker room, lap pool, fitness center, business center, and restaurants. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious, the pools were great to use for my morning swim. We would stay again. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't get any WIFI connection in our room, even our phones said "emergency calls only"- so if you stay at the end of the hall with rooms 200, be aware you may not have service.”

”Stayed in Durango for the night on the way from California to Colorado Springs. Older motel but in clean condition. The room had a small frig in it, desk, tv and a decent bed. It was great for a one night stay for the price. Ask for rooms towards the back as the front street is really busy. The front attendant was very helpful and nice. If you are looking for a high end room, this is not the place for you.”

The lobby has beer decorations and the owner was very nice. Room was clean and everything worked in there. Yeah there was some small stuff with drywall a Karen could complain about but it didn’t bother us. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.”

”The constant street noise was a drawback. I should have done better research because I didn’t realize we were on the main route through the city. Nonstop cars drove by. The sound echoed off the building. The room was clean. The bathroom could have been better maintained - sink stopper gone so you could see whatever was dropped down the drain. Shower didn’t look really clean but it was probably because the tile was reglazed and worn. Beds were comfortable. Sheets were clean. Breakfast was fine....

”We stayed two nights in Red Baron cabin. The Cabin was otherwise ok, but worn out a little bit. The place was nice with mountains all around. Breakfast was served from 8 to 8.30. The Innkeeper prepared the breakfast herself. It was homemade and different from regular hotels. The bad thing about it was that you couldn´t decide yourself what to have for breakfast. As a whole the place was quite ok but next time I visit Durango I propably go somewhere else”

”For the price the room was so so but pretty noisy being on the first floor. The shower was a polar experience as there was zero hot water.
I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a night.
There is a nice park behind the motel, easy access across a little bridge that crosses a creek for walking your dog so that was nice.
The front desk woman was nice and helpful as well.”
