Great Place

Very clean upon arrival. Fantastic location in our opinion. Easy stroll to beach restaurants and shops. Great pool. Has everything you need or want (and more). Like it's own Private compound. Highly recommend.

Poor Property Management/Older Appliances

We left early due to older faulty refrigerator that did not keep our food cold. We had to throw out all our food. After 24 hours of notice of fridge problems, property manager sent out a smelly, dirty, wobbly mini-fridge. No one ever followed back up with us. Just know this is an older property and local property manager customer service is poor if you have problems.

Fun time

The house was beautiful and clean. The pool was fantastic,the weather was bad one day but what a good pool day. The only draw back was the trolley is quite a walk and for us conservatives the house blocks Fox News channel.

Great house for larger groups

Overall, this was a great house for a larger group. The layout of the house is great, with the bedrooms isolated in the back, and easy access to the pool from both the back bedroom/living space and front areas. Walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. There were some issues with the window/door alarms, and maintenance was still there at check in. Some issues were not fixed (a broken closet door), but nothing mission critical. Some issues with entry/exit in that we couldn’t lock the front door using the door code. Only unlock. The floors are pretty dirty (visible dirt on feet when walking barefoot and accumulation on socks), so they could do a better job mopping between stays. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, cookware, etc., but not with basic staples for cooking like salt/pepper, oil, etc. None of this is a major concern, just room for improvement.

Great house and location, minor maintenance issues need to be addressed

We have stayed at this house multiple times and love the location and layout for our large family. Unfortunately, on this trip we encountered some maintenance issues which show that the local team is not doing a good job staying on top of property repairs. For instance, the grill has a leak at the primary valve making it unsafe to use and we never received a response to getting it fixed though a new tank of gas was delivered. Also, several blinds need to be replaced, the master bathroom pocket door does not properly close and there are electrical issues with the lighting posts around the pool. Fingers crossed these issue are addressed, we will hopefully be back soon.

Girls Getaway

Wonderful property and great location - even better than the pictures! Perfect space for five college sorority sisters celebrating our 65th birthdays this year. Open floor plan with lots of windows and plenty of comfortable seating. Outdoor pool was fabulous with plenty of chaise lounges and a covered outdoor seating area. We will definitely book this property again!!!

Great house, perfect location

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was spacious for a family of 7 adults. It was in a quiet residential area but close enough to walk or ride bikes to the beach, shops and eating places. The backyard had beautiful landscape around the pool. We would definitely stay again!

Great Value at the Price

This is the best place we have stayed in on Anna Maria Island in our 15 years of visiting. The house, pool, amenities, and location are top-notch. The extras, specifically the bikes are in poor condition, but it wouldn't take much to bring them and any of the other items noted up to par.

Pleased

Beautiful home pool was great, Would of been nice to have more then 2 beach chairs that worked. I did call about possibly getting a few more at the beginning of the week but we never received a phone call back and they were not replaced during our week stay, Also a wagon for taking belongings to the beach would be a great benefit Overall a very beautiful home and plenty of space. Would love to return next year but not sure if it will be affordable. Thanks

Could have been great

We waited an hour to access the house after our 4pm check in time. They offered us later check out and then day of check out told us that it was not approved for us to stay longer. Our washing machine did not work, they sent someone out to look at it and then they said they would come back and never did. They did send us new towels after requesting. Grill had no gas, we requested and they brought. Shame the grill did not heat beyond 250 degrees. Outdoor space was really nice. House was big and nicely spread out. Trip could have been great but the management company really didn’t pull through on this one. Left with a really sour taste on my mouth which is exactly how it felt when we arrived and had to wait

Family Gathering

This is the second time our family has stayed on Anna Maria Island. This house was great because it was clean, well laid out, well stocked and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The sitting area in the room with the Murphy bed particularly gave us room to spread out (and the Murphy bed was comfortable!). There were plenty of beach chairs with a cart to transport them. Plenty of parking. The hot tub and pool were great. We were able to pay a little extra to have the pool set to a higher temperature. We had a great vacation and will definitely consider this house again. Our only complaint is that it was a bit skimpy on bath towels - only one per person. There was a washer and dryer but it seemed like we were always short. We did not ask for additional, Maybe they would have given us more.

Lots of open space, beautiful pool, responsive staff!

The house is big and great for hosting. And the pool and hot tub area is absolutely beautiful!! We reached out to Vacasa about a few issues and they were responsive, kind, and came to our house when a repair was needed. The beach is two blocks away which we easily walked barefoot. Highly recommend this house!!

Very nice home.

The property fit our needs very well for 8 adults. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cook ware. I was told that there were some spices in the kitchen, but there was none. Not even salt or pepper. It was very nice having the private pool and plenty of seating around it. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the beach was not crowed at all. Be fore warned that Anna Maria is very strict with parking rules. We ended up with 3 parking tickets @ $50 each.

Great pool and location

Group of 5 girlfriends getting together. This is our second time in AMI. We loved the house. The location was perfect to walk to the beach. We spent lots of time around the pool and lounging in the hot tub. Each of us had our own room and the kitchen was stocked well to prepare meals. We would stay here again.

Good stay without me!

My daughters enjoyed the stay without me this year. The week before we to depart from the cold weather in KY and Ohio, I came down with SARS-CoV-2. It was very traumatic to give up my favorite trip but technology kept us in touch all week and I was able to enjoy the sun, sand and fun vicariously through them and facetime!

Great property, if the property manager cared

Checked in to a cold pool and spa on Saturday and checked out to a cold pool and spa. No one gave any cares to fix it or refund me for a big problem communicated day #1. A bunch of people came to the property (interrupting our stay even more every time), but none of them were there to fix it. They kept saying they were checking to see if our claim was real and checking on the condition of the property. So basically no one cared that the entire reason I overpaid to stay in this house specifically was so my group of friends and I could swim. We barley even were able to try and get in and literally no one cared at all. I paid way too much for 3 days in a house near the ocean with no functioning pool or spa.

Wonderful Beach House

We truly enjoyed this beach house for our vacation! It’s plenty big for everyone to be comfortable and even get their space. The pool is beautiful and we loved all the outdoor seating. Not a bad walk to the beach. Make sure you pack paper towels if you have kids bc 1 roll wasn’t going to make it!

Family vacation

Great house and location. Code did not work when we arrived but they called me back quickly to help get us in. They also sent someone over rather quickly. So, they were very responsive to the issue. Plenty of space for our two families. Having beach towels provided was a plus. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. It would be nice to have hooks on the bathroom and bedroom doors to hang bath towels. Also note that while toiletries are provided they will only last 1-2 showers so bring your own. There were pool noodles, beach chairs and umbrellas which we used daily. Firewood was a bit hard to find for the fire pit. Go to ACE Hardware. We leveraged Instacart with Publix for grocery delivery to start our trip and to save time! Overall a fun first time trip to AMI. Would recommend this house for a large group.
