It was a good stay, we enjoyed itJust the lights outside in the pool area were not good and the check out at 10:00 AM was too early for us that travelled with 2 toddlers—most of places/ hotels we have visited the checkout is at 11:00Other than those little details everything was perfectThank you!!

The check in process was a breeze. The house was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable also. The outdoor area and pool were wonderful. We had a blast, especially my 10 year old granddaughter. Beautiful place to stay and close to the beach. We loved it here. Book it, you will not regret it.

Swing and a miss

This is my family’s 4th year in a row coming to Anna Maria and we have stayed at different houses each time. We loved the location to Bean point and the backyard was amazing. The things we didn’t love was the cleanliness of the property. The kitchen’s wood flooring was buckled and big gaps that was not friendly to the kids toes and when going to use the coffee pot, I had to clean the pot of the coffee left in it. The bathroom tub was visibly dirty and the sheets in one bedroom did not fit. For the amount you pay and a cleaning fee I would have hoped to walk into a nicer place.

AMI with the girls, 2024

The positives: Great location! Just a block from the Rod & Reel Pier, walking distance to City Pier and shopping-and of course the beach! The home is cute, older place, grandfathered I'm sure. Nice kitchen and bedrooms with comfortable beds. We snacked at home a lot-there were supplies in the kitchen, but no salt/pepper or spices of any sort. Plenty of parking! My major complaint was about the pool. Upon arrival, it was very dirty with debris. The pool vacuum was on, but spitting dirt and debris right back in from the filter. I notified the owner and management company right away and was told they knew about this and were waiting on a new filter. Problem was that I was never notified and we were not able to use the pool the entire time we were there. I also notified the pool technician per protocol, but he vas on vacation and had no backup. He did have a friend stop by who knew nothing about pools and came at 9:30 at night (we almost called the cops). The management company admittedly knew about this and nothing was done. We are working on some kind of compensation, but we paid for a house with a pool and did not get what we paid for. Our group managed to have a lot of fun. Just disappointed about the pool-and boy, it was hot! We just spent more time at the beach! Thank goodness the air conditioning was working!!

Girls trip

We were a block from the beach and closer than that to the pier. Our trip started years ago with just myself and sister. Gradually we added daughters, nieces daughter in law and niece in law. We are up to 8 most years, sometimes just 7 of us. Every year we pick the next destination. We are all so glad we chose this one this year. In fact several mentioned that they would do this trip again some year. Same place. The pool was such an added bonus. We could walk to the beach, walk to the pier, or just relax by the pool. We loved it! And Kate was a real pleasure to deal with. We will definitely do this again some year.

Great location to the rod & reel pier

We loved the location! Short walk to the beach & the rod & reel pier. Nice backyard & pool for hanging out. Management was very responsive to a few minor issues! Really enjoyed our stay here!

Great AMI Location

This property is spacious and ideally located. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the Rod & Reel Pier. The backyard pool area is beautiful. There are four bedrooms so it’s a great place for families. Everything we needed was provided and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Great and comfortable home within walking distance to the beach

Very comfortable and spacious home for a family of 8 adults. Very well equipped kitchen! Within walking distance to beach, which is not crowded at all due to it being in the North point location. I would consider renting it again.

Great vacation property in fantastic location

We spend our Christmas break at this property on Anna Maria Island. Great experience all around. Property was fantastic and the service from the agency was top notch! A minor recommendation on how to improve the experience at the property would be to install stronger outdoor lighting in the backyard. This will help with the BBQ in the evening, especially during the winter months...

Peaceful post hurricane visit

It was not our typical visit to AMI. Traveling in on the tail of Ian had us a little concerned. We knew there was no power on the island, and weren't sure of our welcome when the community was in chaos. Edward and his team were juggling to place people in other homes. The team moved us to a lovely home not far from our chosen property. We enjoyed it while we waited to move to our island home. Both houses were welcoming and well equipped, but we felt more at home in Starfish. It is a home, not a house. We are so glad AMI avoided the storm and can't wait for our next visit. Thanks team, for going way above and beyond for our visit. Your professionalism and kindness during this challenge were amazing.

Great location, ok house

The location of the house is perfect. Within walking distance to bean point. The house does need help in repair. 1 bedroom, the ceiling fan was missing a blade (4/5 were there). The wooden floor was missing the threshold between the door and hallway. The Master bedroom door was black from hand prints. Pool furniture ripped. The bar stool had 3 cushions on each to offset the uncomfortable seats.

We’ll be back!

Excellent stay. Plenty of space for 6 of us! Nice pool and private backyard. Nice amount of starter items for kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Beds were super cozy and the bedding fresh and clean smelling! Perfect walking distance to Rod and Reel where we ate several times and saw dolphin and mana rays daily! Thank you to the home owners for having us! We will be back to the island in the future for sure!

Enjoyed our stay in April

The property was great, nicer in person. Could have used more Tupperware for nights we cooked at home. The pool company left the water running all day and by the time we got there the first night the pool area was flooded, but we just swept it up and it quickly dried out. No complaints otherwise.

First Time in AMI

Overall, our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed the AMI community very much. The owner and pool management were attentive and helpful when needed. We had to keep the pool vacuum inside of the pool the entire time, which made it challenging for the kids to swim at times, but it was doable. The cleaning from tenant to tenant could have been a bit more thorough, as the floors were sandy, and bathroom sinks were clogged. However, service was quick! Lastly, we didn't have a full set of sheets on a few of the beds. We were able to use sheets from the other beds that had more than enough, but not something you want to worry about when on vacation.

Great stay!

The property was exactly as listed. It is in a fabulous location one house from the Rod’ n Reel pier. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It is an older FL home, but offered everything we needed for a great stay.
