”We had a great 2 night stay in late March. The place is close to the Acadia campus to visit our daughter and close to the downtown core for easy strolls. We enjoyed the large hot tub and never lacked for hot water. We had some cold mornings and the small electric fireplace quickly took out the chill. Highly recommend!”

”Such a cozy and clean place to relax after a long day of driving and sight seeing! It was exactly what we were looking forward to, just like the pictures. So nice to be in the country where it's very quiet. Loved this place ”

”Everything was great except having to book breakfast the night before. Would of liked to have the option to order breakfast in the morning.”

”Excellent location close to town. Also very roomy, Property could use a coat of paint and more serious cleaning. Dust was all over the headboard, spider webs were behind the headboard. TV was tedious to obtain and nothing to watch unless you had your own accounts that you could access. The remote for the window blinds were so small, they were almost unreadable and difficult to adjust. There were no remotes or controls for the "adjustable" bed, that we could find. There were also two curious...

”The country suite of the Gingerbread House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A nice walk into town for good food (definitely try Paddy's pub) and a patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking the amazing trails the Bay of Fundy has to offer. Wish we had time to take advantage of the fireplace area. The only issue which could be easily remedied are the pillows which were as thin as could be. I'd definitely bring my own. Other than that a great place!!”

”This was our 2nd stay which we greatly enjoyed. Great property with close proximity to Wolfville and ACADIA university.”

”Great location, large room! The birds were a highlight.”

”when we booked this reservation in May, 2026, we received a email where the pin code and wi-fi password were stated, this was almost 5 months ago, we assumed and were told that we would get a email 3 days prior to our stay, we did get this email but no code was provided, we were unable to access our accommodation for 30 minutes and then we received conflicting explanations as to who had the responsibility to do this, I did not recall the May 3rd email and I could not access it through my phone...

”Place was very quaint and nostalgic. Everything felt reminiscent of an old cottage. Rooms were decent. Obviously very dated but kept up well. Showers are tiny. Fine for me but husband had a hard time with it. Really like the front seasonal room. Very cozy atmosphere. Had a lively breakfast ready for us in the morning. Service was fantastic.”

”Very quaint and wonderfully nice people run the place. Only disappointment was you had to have an appointment time for breakfast. Either 7:30 or 9.”

”What a delightful place to stay! We had no idea when we booked on Expedia that it is the #5 ranked place to stay in Canada. And well deserved! My son and I stayed in the "Cliffs of Fundy" tower suite. The description on Expedia did not prepare us for how impressive this suite is! It is the entire top floor and comes with two separate 3 piece bathrooms and two separate bedrooms, a king, two twin beds. I had thought it was twin bunk beds from the description but it's not. The staff is very...

”Great location to walk into town, but off the main road. Charming old Victorian. Lovely large room with brand new bathroom and big shower. Covered porch with view of the water. Charming dining room for breakfast and a nice selection of food. Lively pub next door for dinner (but not noisy).”
