”I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

”Everything was great! Except for the wifi network issue. I was supposed to do work from home and the internet connectivity and speed wasn’t good. ”

”The house had everything we needed for a great stay. Kitchen had all the tools, dishes, pans, etc. We watched a couple movies ( Netflix, etc ) , enjoyed a fire outside one evening, sat around the table for meals and chat. The location was perfect for the hikes we did, and exploration of the park. Plenty of room to relax and unwind. We had a small(ish) group of college friends and I would book again if we were to return with similar numbers. Very pleasant stay. ”

”The owner never sent me the door code. I arrived at 5pm (check-in is at 3pm) and realized I had not received arrival instructions so I tried contacting him with no success. I spent about an hour on the front porch trying to figure out what to do. VRBO care team was trying to reach him by phone and never got an answer. The care team was very helpful —they ultimately had to refund me and I ended up at an area hotel instead. ”

”House was lovely, just a few feet from the River. Kitchen and dining were huge, lots of space to spread out. The beds were large and comfortable. Meredith was responsive and easy to talk to. Highly recommend. ”

”Caboose was great. Host communicated well. We loved it! There were games, extra blankets (THANK YOU!), starter coffee, and the entire caboose was super cute. Location could not have been better. ”

”We stayed just one night, but we loved SO much about this home. After spending some long hours driving, we were so relieved to have this space to stretch out, indoors and out! The back yard was large and felt like an oasis, with the hot tub and fire pit. The house was fully stocked (little & big things) and had every appliance we could have possibly needed (to include a washer & dryer). We appreciated having 2 parking spots so close to the front door…easy unloading and [re]loading. Decor was...

”Nothing to identify if we were at the right place. Impressed with the cleanliness and the serene setting. we heard turkeys but that was all.Great location to see local sights!Stormy the cat was a pleasant surprise. You might give more details about the location of feeding dishes.We suggest more hooks in second bedroom. Also, the last outside step was difficult to manage. Need some cutesy curb appeal. Maybe shutters or window boxes.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.”

”Cute house, loved the theme. Would have liked a more stocked kitchen as far as dishware, pots/pans, toaster, etc. The kitchen was very minimal if you plan to cook. Also be very careful with the steep and slippery steps to the 2nd floor. I’d give it 5 stars if it had more of an outdoor space. The back porch was very rundown and fire pit was not usable. But, overall, the house was great and we were happy with our stay!”
