An immaculate and characterful modern villa within lovely enclosed grounds, Constance lies in a residential area just outside Antibes, enjoying an unhurried and calm location within easy reach of this appealing Riviera harbour town and just 2km from the Mediterranean coast.
Creatively decorated and furnished, the comfortable and very well-appointed interior is full of surprises including various African ornaments and artefacts from the owner’s travels. Similarly, each of the four bedrooms has been given its own identity, three being on the first floor and one principal suite on the ground floor with excellent quality en suite facilities. All the bedrooms benefit from air conditioning to ensure you remain cool in the heat of summer.

Well laid out for summer living, all the living spaces open out onto a superb terrace running the width of the house, providing both comfy seating and a dining area. Pretty pebbles surround the eye-catching circular swimming pool, which is enveloped by an attractive landscaped garden, a lush haven planted with established trees and shrubs, including both typical Mediterranean plants such as mimosa and oleander as well as more unusual species such as weeping willow and exotic-looking palms.

Antibes (4km) has much to offer, including art galleries and museums, lovely beaches, the harbour with views to the iconic star-shaped Fort Carré, and a huge choice of both traditional and upmarket shops and restaurants within its labyrinth of streets and squares. Relax for an afternoon in the Thalazur spa (2km) or spend the day on the stunning pine-backed beaches found at nearby Juan-les-Pins (5.5km).

Other places to explore in this area include the charming hilltop village of Biot (4km), famous for its ceramics and gorgeous blown glass, and Valbonne (14km) whose central square is a great place for an atmospheric evening meal. You may well be drawn further afield to the famous Côte d’Azur towns of Cannes and Nice, and an easy and convenient option is to take the train from nearby Biot railway station (3km).
