”Rivers Edge Retreat has been one of the best places we have stayed during our travels. Better than advertised and owner spares no expense with the HIGH quality of everything inside and out. Distance to town was perfect drive, got to see elk herd on way home from dinner about 5:45-6pm on 335 road to house. We dont see them in Texas so it was very neat. River flowing just outside the deck was refreshing and soothing for the soul. Ann the host had great communication and info in house helped...

”The bedding was not clean in my room. No hand soap to wash hands. Difficulties getting into house. Last 4 of my phone did not open front door.This is the most I have ever paid for VRBO plus a cleaning fee? Very disappointed. Will not ever book at this place again. ”
