”One of the nicest hotels I’ve been in Thailand. The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and the location is really good. Rooms are clean and the outside bathroom is a nice touch. The only problem with the room is that there is no room for clothes and other stuff. We ended up using a chair for that.
We rented a scooter and drove around the island for a few days but you could easily just stay in Shantaa for the whole trip - they have everything you need.

We stayed in Starfish room, which was basic room and had swimming pool in between houses. Swimming pool was old and kind of dirty looking. "Beautiful area with amazing views and lovely and sweet bungalows. Bungalows are quite small and simple with "outdoor" bathroom which was a little surprising. They look nice and we got used to the nature being so close to us.
It is a bit struggle to sleep with all the gekkos screaming through the night but you can sleep while sunbathing. In the middle of paradise those are minor details.
Staff is friendly and helpfull. Thank you for the visit.
