”As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. ”We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family.”

”The apartment is very nice and conveniently located near the Saint Francis Chapel. If you are driving to Assisi, it is better to park (Saba Giovanni Paolo II) in the public parking lot and walk to the apartment than to try and drive to the apartment. Driving is Assisi is very difficult and almost no parking near the apartment.”

”We had a wonderful stay in Julia’s apartment in the Quadrilatero neighborhood of Bologna. It is a charming apartment and pleasant (short) walk to many of Bologna’s attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. As other guests have noted, because the apartment is in the heart of the Quadrilatero and above lively restaurants, there is a lot of noise at night and in the mornings so I would highly recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Thanks to Julia for her patient and timely directions...

”Property was beautiful and more than sufficent for a large family. It was clean and has most of what you would need for a relaxing stay. "We (me, my husband and our 15 year old son) had a short but wonderful stay at Hotel Metropolitan in July. The hotel is located in short walking distance from the train station and shops, restaurants and attraction are just around the corner. We had the penthouse suite with balcony, which was absolutely gorgeous. The room was modern, clean and spacious. Our son really liked that he had his own space and own door to the balcony. The breakfast was delicious and versatile. The rooftop bar was super nice; great views and atmosphere. Everyone at the hotel staff were really friendly and genuine, it made us feel very welcome. Special thanks to rooftop bartender, who gave us suggestions about restaurants. We would definitely come back to this hotel hopefully for a bit longer stay!"
