”Hoops Inn is a lovely Grade II building with history. It has a lovely garden, although on a steep incline so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulty. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. Lovely freshly cooked breakfasts with good quality produce.”

”A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. ”

”We’ve stayed here several times, never in room number 6. It was up in the attic so very tight on space and my husband kept banging his head on the eaves. Tv didn’t work and every time a door shut below us it shook the building and was really loud. We’d stay again but not in room 6”

”We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. It is close to all the amenities Appledore has to offer. It is an ideal base to discover North Devon, which is beautiful. The garden...
