”Absolutely fabulous Hotel was so clean, comfortable and with lovely special touches in the room plus aircon. I stayed here for four nights for Isle of Wight festival and it was so convenient but such a lovely place to stay I hope to come back again and couldn’t recommend enough 5 stars x”

”Place was brilliant fun. Caravan was clean and spacious. Timmy at the entertainment was definitely what tipped it over. Kids loved him. We will be back. ”

”Host changed the address of the property an hour before check in (5 hours into our travel to the location). The amended property had black mould poorly covered by grouting, no shower screen so water went everywhere, and general "DIY landlord" decorating, with damage to many of the walls being slap dash filled and painted. There was also a general sewage smell across the property but that may have just been the area / location. ”

”We stayed at Byecross as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 9 to 77. Fabulous stay in a fabulous property with fabulous hosts. The Aga was fine to use and actually makes the best toast! If you are planning to stay at Byecross I would recommend doing a bit of research on how to use an Aga before arriving, and also plan to spend at least a couple of days at the property without going out anywhere as there really is so much to do and explore just on the property grounds and the surrounding area...

”We decided to try something new instead of hotel so booked the yacht. Great experience. Marina and boat were lovely. Lots of restaurants and easy to walk around and explore. Steve and Miros went over and above to make sure our stay was great and even picked us up from cruise port and drove us to airport hotel the next day. Would highly recommend . ”

”St Lawrence Manor was the perfect place for our large group of 14 adults and 8 children. The place is massive and the grounds were excellent. We all had enough space to gather as a group, but could have our own space too. The games room with bar was the highlight and we loved the tennis court too. Some of the rooms/bathrooms could do with a refresh, but that didn’t effect our stay at all. The large kitchen and dining area was great and perfect for large meals together. We all had an excellent...

”Very easy to speak with the owners of the boats and boat was spotless with a lovely welcome basket. The wash facilities in the marina were 5* and the views on the boat take any stress away. We were a party of 2 and it felt enough for below deck as the room definitely is up top. The restaurant in marina is fabulous and so are their cocktails”

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
