”Had a very nice stay at the hotel. The room was quiet as it was not facing the street but the location of the hotel was perfect since it was on the street with all restaurants and cafés, and just across the streets there are the ferries to the Île de Ré. The staff was superfriendly and helpful and gave me some local tourist information as well. I spent one night only, but can't be happier with the choice of this hotel.”

”Lovely hotel perfectly located next to the old town and all restaurants. Our spacious 3-person room had two bedrooms and was in a brilliant shape and clean. We were travelling with a baby and all our requests were promptly and friendly fulfilled by the staff. Breakfast was also excellent. The hotel is definately worth its 4 stars!”

”The hotel was fine for a one night stay - the room was clean (some stains on the sheets and in the bathroom, but nothing larger) and adequate, although a little run down (stuffed smell etc.). The street & yard outside the hotel was really really smelly (apparently used as a urinal), but otherwise the location was really good - close to restaurants & bars & shops. La Rochelle isn't that big to begin with (walking distance to everywhere), but this hotel was nevertheless conveniently located.”
