”Stayed here for one night to visit Mount Fuji. Accommodation was clean, with all facilities needed. Futons gave a real Japanese experience. Close to train station about 10 minute walk. We had a good view of Mount Fuji from window. The area itself is very quiet with limited places to eat/ drink but our main reason was to visit Mount Fuji. ”

”We absolutely loved our stay here! The villas are beautiful and the rooftop view didn’t disappoint! We even took advantage of the BBQ rental one night. It’s better to have a car if you stay here, but we didn’t and made out fine. The property offers a shuttle service which we used several times, and we took taxis a couple of other times. There is an onsen nearby which we enjoyed one night too! Highly recommend this property. It was a highlight of our trip to Japan.”

However, travelers should note that the location is somewhat distant from Kawaguchiko station, especially if carrying luggage. In my experience, after missing the last bus, a taxi was necessary, costing ¥900 - a minor inconvenience. ”One of my favorite hotels I've ever been to in Japan. Paid extra for the Mt. Fuji view and it was 100% worth it. Transit was extremely easy as both main lines were just across the street, making it easy to bus to Mt. Fuji. Hotel had great / fun excursions that I recommend you try.”
