”The location was perfect, right at the top with easy access to all of the city. It had an amazing view and was quite quaint. The service was top notch. She greeted us as we arrived and made sure we knew everything about the place and gave us help to find anything else in the city. The room was quite spacious and had an actual King size bed. ”Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location. We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast. Great atmosphere in the evening when there was a live band and a busy function suite. Have already recommended this hotel and this town to friends.”

”No internet, no TV channels, no sign to check in,carpet smells like wet dog, we stayed on top level and got woken up at 1:30 in the morning because of the people down below screaming and yelling for over an hour, no I wouldn't recommend”

”This is a lovely hotel in a row of historic cottages along a street right by the Broughty Ferry waterfront and within easy walking distance to the shore on one side, and shops and restaurants on the other. Street parking in front of the hotel was free although it did take a few trips around the block to find a space during the mid afternoon. We used the pub in the ground floor as a meeting spot for friends and also really enjoyed the breakfast selection. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
