Everything you need
The motel was great for a two night stay. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived on a saturday night and there was a bar right next to our room so it was pretty noisy, but otherwise everything was fine. In the motel area there were several shops and cafes so you didn't have to go far to find what you need.

Rooms are very dirty, out dated , king bed was two singles pushed together and they weren’t matching, toilet seat broken, draws that don’t open properly. But the staff are great and the location is why I will come back

We loved our stay. Easy bus ride from the ferry. Check in was simple - just picked up an envelope with our name and a key. The adjacent bar/restaurant and pool are a bonus. We enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay for a second night. All that took was a text and the staff accommodated us. Great location and great facilities on a beautiful island.

Enjoyable stay
A great location and friendly staff. Our room was a little tired however it looks like the downstairs rooms have been renovated so upstairs will probably be done before too long.

Basic accommodation, but the rooms are quite spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the complex is beautifully kept. I'd gladly stay there again.

Room is a bit ‘tired’ but huge room with large, very comfortable bed and well equipped with fridge, toaster and microwave. Ample cutlery and plates, cups etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great to see kookaburra and kangaroo watching us eat supper outside the room!

This is a fantastic place to stay but be sure, if you have small children (with pram etc) to ask for a room on the lower level. Carting a beach wagon, pram, baby and toddler 2 flights of stairs was kind of challenging :)

Property was clean and basic, staff were lovely. Wifi was limited to 500mb per person which I was not aware of at the time of booking. This was very disappointing. Propoerty was slightly on the expensive side for the room in my opinion.

Great location - but don’t book this place
The location is great, in walking distance from Alma beach and the rock wallabies. The room had a bad smell and was not clean enough with spiderwebs in the corners etc. We asked in the reception for an extra cleaning and they promised that the cleaning would be done the next morning. This didn’t happen. The owners dog walk around the property and it is a really nice and friendly dog. But there was several dog poop in the garden. There is a lot of noise and music from the hotel next door. One night there was drunk people hammering our door late at night while laughing. Luckily the music stopped before midnight because we woke up to a leaf blower and construction work early in the morning.

The outlook from the room was nice overlooking the pool and ocean views of Geoffrey bay. Bed comfortable and warm. Lovely scent from the reed diffuses. Wire shelving for kitchen appliances, plates and glasses was appaling, rusty toaster, broken toilet seat and a very tired and rust in places in the bathroom.

The room was on a good location to enjoy a night at the stage door but was very overpriced for the room. There were dead cockroaches in the bathroom. The light as we entered the room flickered and eventually died. The ceiling fan was shaking wildly. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbours conversations and staff were out with leaf blowers very early waking us up and then more leaf blowing staff didnt seem to notice us trying to enjoy breakfast by the pool and just blew around us making a racket and ruining our peace trying to enjoy the sea view. There were no staff available on check out to discuss our issues so just dropped the key and left.

Unfortunately the room was very dirty and had lots of spiders and ants. Utensils, plates etc, chipped, toaster should be replaced. The manager was very helpful, allowed us to stay longer in order to be ready for our ferry transfer.

Beautiful location and views, great stay
The location is excellent, right on Geoffrey Bay. Beautiful views from our room across the pool to the ocean. Easy walking distance to the Arcadia Hotel and Alma Bay. The hosts are very friendly and great to talk to. Our room was very clean and in good condition. We would not hesitate to stay again.

I liked the close location to the neaby hotel and newsagency but did not like the limited eating with only one hotel bistro available where orders took over 35 mins to be served !!
