Getting from the parking garage to the BnB by taxi is a bit scary. Gosh those taxi drivers are good. Coordinating with Remy was easy with WhatsApp. If you have problems walking or doing stairs, this would not be a good place for you (or up in the old town at all. The house is a bit quirky with levels and steps in many places. It is utterly charming. You can hear people in the street talking as they go by. I am sensitive to noise, but I slept fine without earplugs. I just happened to get up at sunrise. It was a gorgeous view. It is a wonderful place to stay and slow down after Seville and Malaga. The pool is just a plunge pool to cool off. We liked the breakfast and it was simply wonderful to enjoy the view during breakfast.

Exquisite hidden gem
What an amazing guest house, thank you so much for having us. On arrival we were greeted by the friendliest people who went out of their way to help us with our baby stroller and luggage. They had everything we needed, access to a fridge, kettle, toys, drinks and snacks on demand. The courtyard is stunning, like out of a movie, I had never experienced such authentic Spain. The room was just perfect, so clean with amazing views, excellent air con and so lovely and quiet. We were given a really comfortable baby cot for our 7mth old. Driving the little streets to drop off our bags was so much fun, you would never experience this anywhere. No parking outside, but a beautiful pleasant walk up the hill from the car park, past lovely cafès and shops. The town itself is stunning, we really felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem. We would highly recommend this guest house if you want to experience the luxury of real Spain. Just amazing.

This is a cosy BNB run by a very hospitable couple. Set high on Arcos hill, it has a beautiful view; our room had a terrace, which we used. Dining is close by. Keep in mind there is parking down the hill, and there are hills, so don't go to Arcos if you don't like to walk:)

Very unique lodgings with dining patios and nooks. Very quaint and charming. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Do not drive up leave car at bottom parking garage at plaza de España and taxi up. Would stay there again.

This property is a true gem. Tranquil and serene and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. A beautiful property not to be missed. Arcos itself is a delight. Narrow shady streets with a surprise round every corner. Park in the underground carpark and get a taxi up the hill, worth every penny of 7€. Don't attempt to drive it unless you have a small car and are confident with narrow streets. Would love to return one day and spend more time as this property was the highlight of our trip.

A unique property in a unique location. The views are amazing, property is clean and well maintained, breakfast was good and fresh (good value for the money) and the owners are very nice and helpful. Overall we had a great experience and we would definetly return in the future.

Beautiful and unique property with wonderful small pool to relax in after a long hot day walking all the hills! Hosts were very accommodating and helped us when we got lost after parking the car on a narrow windy street a long way away from the property. Only drawback was bed was hard and uncomfortable and air conditioning only works in the bedroom and not in the entire space so it was hot at night. Great views of the mountains from the room.

Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia en este lugar porque la dueña nos trató como delincuentes por una equivocación con el pago y nos dijo hasta que queríamos estafarla ,nos habló con demasiado despotismo,definitivamente ella no está preparada para tratar con sus huéspedes debería dejar a su esposo hacerlo que es totalmente diferente muy amable y educado,no regresaría jamás a ese hostal,ella es muy mala imagen de este lugar

La que he tenido una mala experiencia he sido yo! A la hora de cobrar le expliqué con toda amabilidad que en mi lugar no se cobra antes y usted comenzó a gritarme que ya estaba pagado! cosa que no era verdad. Le pedí que me muestre la reserva y al mirarla vimos que en ningún lugar decia que estaba pagado, usted seguía gritando que no iba a pagar dos veces y con comentarios agresivos diciendo que todos los argentinos somos prepotentes!! cuando le he tenido que decir varias veces que se calme. y baje la voz... nunca me pasó algo igual. Además cuando intenté cobrar por la tarjeta de crédito que dieron como garantía no era válida!!! En fin.... le he pedido a la agencia que les ponga claro en letra grande que tienen que pagar aquí. Personas tan agresivas nerviosas y que insultan cuando no tienen razón no son bienvenidas. Lo que deberían es pedir disculpas por haber estado confundidos con respecto al pago y por eso recibir gritos en insultos....

Nuestra experiencia en la Casa de Bovedas ha sido excelente. El alojamiento es aún más bonito que en las fotos, tiene unas vistas espectaculares a la montaña que se pueden apreciar desde la terraza y piscina. Está ubicado en pleno centro, muy cerca de todos los restaurantes. Lo que más nos ha gustado ha sido el trato que hemos recibido por parte de los dueños. Volveremos a visitarlos pronto! :)

Lovely experience within a quaint town. The breakfast was well worth the €7 pp. Great honesty system with fridge stocked full of drinks and snacks. Location in old town was a few minutes walk from the recommended restaurants.

Dropped by when travelling w family on holidaytrip. We parked in the underground parking in the village centre, which is an absolutely recommendation to do. Cost approx 15 Euros/23 hrs. Romantic small village with lovely "miradors" and original stay. Bohemian high class and great staff.

A charming place to stay while in Arcos
La Casa de Bovedas is a charming and very well decorated guesthouse. It is located on a very narrow street in the old and upper part of the city of Arcos de la Frontera. To get to this good address, I suggest you leave your car on the street in the newer part of the city, and walk up to the old town and the Eglisia de San Pedro. From there, locals will direct you to the Calle Bovedas, a 2-minute walk away. Fantastic restaurants with wonderful tapas + fantastic views from the edge of the cliffs are close by. Wonderful pictures of the cliffs and the city were taken from the plains below (shepherd with his sheeps and dogs in the forefront, cliffs and the city in the background). Like Ronda, Arcos is a place not to be missed.

Charming inn in the old city
This inn is in the old section of Arcos with steep narrow streets. The proprietor advised us to park in the new underground parking at the bottom of the hill and take a taxi, and this was excellent advise. The garage charges 15 euro per day. The inn is charming, eclectic, in a historic building with steep steps. It would not be a good choice if there are mobility issues. The proprietor is wonderful, warm and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and each is different. The are multiple public areas to sit both inside and on terraces. Shower and AC worked very well. Breakfast is an extra 7 euro and includes toast, fruit, juice and coffee. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing views and worth the trip!
The location may seem out of the way but the village of Arcos de La Frontera is worth the trip and La Casa De Bovedas was incredible. The rooms were decorated beautifully, had amazing views from the rooms, the terraces, and the breakfast areas. A short walk around and you can see everything in Arcos and have a wonderful dinner! The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was perfect. To sit and drink our fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee with views and no rush I could not ask for a better vacation spot. Even the shower was exceptional and had a window with views. Loved it!

Nice place but tooks long journey
We was at Round trip at spain and I come at this place with my family by car. I recomend you guys to not go with car. We have not got any information to come at this hotel that we can park at the location : ) It is not possible to park at the hotel. We have called hotel after couple time the phone works and they ask me to send taxi that i can park better down site of the place. After half hour taxi took us and bringed to the hotel. Cost 10 euro... and even return to parking place 10 euro again. We was with baby and it was not easy to stay at that location. The location is nice hotel personal ( the man ) can speak even Dutch. He was helping us very well. Advised us also at the night 2 restourant and they are ok and good prise.. Room of the hotel We change to Sutie room becouse the room we booked has no window and near the street. At the hotel you can take self services from the refrigator and you fill the paperwhat you get prices are like each cola 2.5 Euro.

Hi, Orkun! Thank you for your opinion ... I do not understand what you write because in our confirmation we send you all the possibilities to park, the nearest parking is 150 meters. It is not real what you say, you can get to the hotel by car .... also passes the bus ... the trash truck. We also talk about the narrow streets, although I always recommend parking the first time in the lower part of the village. To know where we are, but if you can reach the door of the hotel by car. We are in the historic center of a white town, all white villages have been built in other times where the streets were narrower. Precisely that is what makes this town a very different and beautiful place.  That is clear on the web and everywhere, we can not change where we are, that is what the customer chooses, we hope that the client will read all the information before making the reservation. Taxi costs € 6 from the lower part of town, you were lost quite far. The soft drinks in the hotel are € 2.- We do not have rooms without windows !!! You will change to have views of the lake and mountains. It is not very real the information you write ... Anyway, we wish a beautiful vacation with your family.

A wonderful boutique hotel in the center of Arcos de la Frontera. Beautifully maintained by the owner who wants the guests to feel at home there. Breakfast in the little courtyard with a few over the lake is magical. A warning, though: drivers using a GPS will be led into a maze of increasingly narrow streets. It is better to inquire in advance about parking possibilities, deposit the car, and walk to the hotel.

Old house in charming town
The host and his daughter were very genial. The house was lovely. Small but clean room and bath with basic amenities. We would recommend but not for people who lack agility.

がっかり。駐車場の件でわざわざメールを貰うも、意味が分かりづらい。ホテルも好みも有ると思うが、狭い道に面した部屋で狭く、バスルームも使い勝手が悪かった。もう少しHotels・comでも現地調査をした方が良いと思います。

My Favorite Hotel in Spain
Staying 10 days throughout Andalucía and this by far was my favorite hotel. After three days in Seville, Casa de Bovedas was completely relaxing. Remy was a warm gracious host who gave my friend great information regarding parking, sights, restaurants, and Arcos in general. My room had two single beds and direct access to a balcony with wonderful views of the countryside. Fantastic common areas to relax in with big comfy sofas and a lovely patio with lots of flowering plants and shade trees. The only downside was that I was able to stay for one night.

Lovely inn located in middle of ancient hill town
Excellent reception. Innkeeper was very accommodating in encouraging us to park in the parking garage and take a taxi (which he called) to the Inn located in the middle of the ancient hill town. It was a wonderful place and I also recommend the Flamenco restaurante just a short distance away along the main street. The inn had an excellent view of the town and nearby mountains.
