Marvelous stay!

It was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in ! We celebrated Thanksgiving here and it was amazing! Property was very clean and organized, had everything we needed, Sheila was a wonderful host who would reply fast to all our questions and be very attentive. We would highly recommend staying here!

Home before our moving day!

This property was perfect for our family as we transitioned homes. Plenty of space for everyone as well as a FULLY stocked VRBO with all of the amenities you need to truly feel at home. Interaction with the property manager was timely and efficient as well!

Asheville Base Camp

We loved the property and the interactions with the host. Everything one could need was provided. We were 10 to 15 minutes away from all the attractions in Asheville and were on the same interstate exit as the Sierra Nevada Brewery and Restaurant. What a beautiful place.

WOWed by this Home!

2nd time staying at this home. Every detail is thought of and the house well stocked and maintained. So many little details taken care of from coffee creamer to game packed garage. Such a wonderful home you don’t want to leave. The owners/ host were very interested in make our stay superb.

Thanksgiving

Our family stayed here for Thanksgiving. There were 15 of us and it was just wonderful! Plenty of beds and bathrooms plus a fabulous garage game room. We have rented multiple properties in the past and this property was by far the best! It was very clean and better stocked than my own home. The owners were so kind and fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this property!

Family Birthday weekend

We visited Asheville to celebrate two family birthdays. We absolutely loved the house and also greatly appreciated the friendly, accommodating, communicative interaction with our hosts. I have had the pleasure of renting many homes through VRBO and the amenities of this home was very well done and organized. The layout of the home was fantastic for a large family and the location was very convenient. I can assure you that we will rent from this property again the next time we visit Asheville!

Prayer Group Biltmore Trip

Our stay was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. Sheila and her husband were amazing hosts We had 12 ladies in the house and not once did we feel crowded, even with all 12 gathered in the living room for Bible study. The house was spottles and the beds were exceptionably comfortable, which is a huge plus when vacationing. Sheila's forethought in addressing any and every need for guests is unmatched. All that was left for us to do was relax and enjoy!

Absolutely wonderful!

We rented the house to celebrate an 80th birthday. Sheila was amazing to communicate with, she responded right away and was extremely helpful! The house is stocked better then my own, and I thought I was good. Bedrooms are set up perfectly, beds are comfortable and enough room that no one is on top of each other. I highly recommend to stay here!

We loved our stay at the Eagle in Asheville. The property was perfect for our girl's trip to the Biltmore and fit the 7 seven of us perfectly. Everyone was very impressed with the accommodations. They also provided everything you could possibly need and were extremely organized. The game room was a great plus as well. The host Sheila was great! She was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs - communication was perfect! We would definitely book The Eagle again!

Ideal Place for a Small Group

I work at a university in North Carolina and brought a group of five students to the Asheville area for a student learning experience. It was an ideal location and was convenient to every place we went in Asheville. Each person a had their own bedrooms, and it provided an ideal space for rest and reflection as a group. The hosts were superb at communication and checked in a few times to ensure we had all we needed. Our students also loved the game room and some of the snacks in the place! It was a great experience!

Great home, thoughtful host!

The property is incredibly well suited for groups. Sheila has created a perfect home to host family, friends or (in our case) multiple families. She has everything you could ever need in the kitchen, large living spaces to congregate, lots of toys, plenty of beds, and clean bathrooms! The listing was perfectly accurate, and the floor plan allowed us to map out room arrangements before arriving (a huge help with kids!). Sheila was also extremely communicative and accommodating -- even allowing us to check in early and check out late! She is simply lovely, and we had the best time at her property.

Awesome Place

This place was so nice. The owners were so helpful. They made sure the place was well stocked with everything we could need. They even had fresh fruit and muffins waiting for us. We had a group of 16 and were quite comfortable. Communication with owner was easy and they were prompt. They treated us like family and we felt like we could ask for anything if we need something. In fact they were able to help us out with an air compressor when we had a low tire. I would recommend this listing and would stay here again.

Great stay for the whole family!

We had a multigenerational blended family and needed a house that could accommodate 11 people with enough beds and baths for everyone. This home delivered! Clean, well stocked, and Sheila was so helpful in ensuring we had things like cake pans and picnic coolers. The garage game room was a huge hit as well. The property is convenient to the airport and shopping like groceries and target. Downtown Asheville is about 25 minutes away. Only downside is that the neighborhood is not walkable to anything really, so be prepared to use this as a driving home base. The photos were spot on. Everything is exactly as shown in the online photos, or better. Thank you so much!!

"Girls'" Outing to Biltmore

We are a group of six college friends who met back in the 70s. We wanted to organize a girls' trip together to see Biltmore and wanted a place where everyone could sleep in a real bed. This lovely home exceeded our wildest expectations! It is large and the furnishings are beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked with more than we could have expected - coffee, tea, and all that goes with that. A basket full of snacks. Dishes, glassware, silverware, a dishwasher, storage wraps and baggies. The bathrooms had a multitude of towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the mountain greenery, close proximity to airport, Biltmore, and Asheville. The host was great! She checked in with us via text several times to see how things were going. I have only wonderful things to say about this property and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Highly recommend this property!

This property was wonderful. We came to Arden to have an early Thanksgiving with our youngest son since he was unable to come home for Thanksgiving. Arden is really a bedroom community of Asheville and so venturing to Asheville to see the Biltmore decorated for Christmas was quick and easy. The floorplan is really nice. There is room for everyone to be together or have their own space. I have an elderly mother who can't navigate stairs well so having a bedroom and bath on the main floor for her was wonderful. There is a den on the main floor and another den on the lower floor. The bedroom and bath on the upper floor is listed as a "loft", but there is more privacy than a traditional loft because there is no opening to the lower floor. You have to walk all the way up the stairs before you can see in the room. I guess the reason it is listed as a loft is because there is not a door at the top or bottom of the stairs, but again, it is still private, plus it has its own bathroom. The kitchen was furnished with more things than any other rental property I have ever stayed. I had no problem preparing our Thanksgiving meal. The owner has put a lot of thought in to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.... a true host. The owner was very responsive to any questions. Great property and wonderful experience!

Attention to every detail!

This property was pristinely clean! Plenty of towels and blankets, pillows, many extras in the bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need, and then some! The game room was really fun! We were in town for a wedding and had plenty of space for our large group. Beds were comfortable too! There’s nothing I could say negative about this unit. It’s highly recommended, and I would rent it again as well as rent any unit from this owner!

Best Short Term Rental

When I say that this was the BEST short term rental I have ever experienced, I am not exaggerating. The owners were extremely accommodating with easy communication. We had a large group for a soccer tournament in the area and we were provided with extra cots to give everyone a place to sleep comfortably. The residence was well stocked and felt like home. Our entire group had a great time!

Best Experience in Arden, NC

Sheila and Brennen are the best, host! Property is very well maintained and nicely located. whenever we needed any help, they responded quickly. Sheila communicated all along with me on information. I spent a fabulous 3 nights with my friends at this property. Property has plenty games equipment for guests of different agae group. A big kudos to the host!

Graduation celebration

The Eagle was perfect for our gathering! 11 of us stayed here--we had plenty of room to gather with comfort. Everyone had their own space to retreat to. The beverage and condiments drawers--wow! We were so impressed by the detail of thoughtfulness provided by the host--beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we could need, the rec area in the garage was really well planned. We will return again and again!
