Though there was a railway on the opposite side of the wall, it didn't disturb us at all as the windows were very soundproof. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was nice and tasty. ”NH Hotel Bingen has a very good location next to Rhine, near train station and ferry to Rüdesheim. Less than an hour from the Hahn airport by car. Our room was clean and comfortable. Only negative thing was the heavy train traffic. If you are a light sleeper, you will need ear plugs. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had in a hotel, but be sure that it is included in your room price, otherwise it is quite pricey. Nice restaurants, Calimero and Gaggianer, within 5 min. walking...
