”Pelican Lake Motel was fantastic. The outside look is deceiving. Yes, it's an old building. I loved it as soon as I saw it. The room was splendid. Everything inside is brand new. ”The house was loaded with lady bugs, and more importantly mice. The pull out couch, the futon, and drawers/cabinets were littered with mice poop. Which left 2 beds unusable...Additionally, the lawn/home outside was poorly groomed with chopped up bottles and long grass clippings left… which was disappointing since we wanted to enjoy the yard. ”This cabin was the perfect spot for a long weekend in the northwoods. Hosts are very responsive. The cabin is not on the lake but a quick 2 minute walk gets you to a quiet, semi-private beach and a private pier. Our dogs had a blast playing in the water and chasing chipmunks on the property. The provided kayaks and paddleboard were appreciated to get out on the water. Highly recommend staying here! ”
