”Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of...

”The area was beautiful, the host was welcoming, the cleaning was daily. Food in the area was superb and plentyful. Boat hire is local. The driving in the local area was flatter than other parts of the island. There is nothing not to like!”

”Great spot. Handy having the bar/taverna right in front. Host empties the trash and brings fresh towels daily. Only disappointment was that the sun beds shown in the photos are not included with the room rate. Beds in the room left us with a bit of a back ache as well.”

”Let's start with the only negative comment I can come up with. Yes the interior of the apartment was a little dated and fairly basic but hey you're in Greece. Everything else about this property is superb. The staff are excellent, the pool and bar is great and the hotel dog is hilarious. Guests return year after year and I can see why.”

”We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....
