”Beautiful and spacious room, artfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the TV allowed us to stream our favorites. We enjoyed our two nights there and will stay again when we are in the area. A lovely and economical alternative to a hotel.”

”The room was spacious & served its purpose. Grounds were a little dirty. Wanted to do swimming in the pool but a bunch of sweaty workers consumed it with loud music (which is fine) just didn’t feel comfortable. ”The Walnut in is a charming little hotel off I40 that my dog and I stopped at for a quick overnight that ended conning two nights. It was wonderful. So clean, cute, the staff were amazing and there was the best little diner right next door! Casino across the way but we didn’t go over! The price was fantastic and really I can’t say more wonderful things about it! 10/10 for me!”

”I drove for almost 12 hours and stopped here for the night with my wife and kids. No complaints at all! Got a great nights rest and woke up refreshed! Comfortable bed! Nobody can compete with their price! 10/10.”

”Towels were not in the room when we entered it, we had to return to the front desk to get them. Many flies in the room and outside the room. Breakfast on Friday morning was about 1 hour late due to an employee issue. But overall our stay was acceptable for the price. Would probably stay there again.”

”Clean room, but odd as the room was quite empty with no wall art or office desk chair, just a bed, armchair, and dresser with the TV. Breakfast was adequate if you’re only looking for a quick bite to eat. The staff was helpful and friendly, and overall the property was quite nice. My only complaint is that the outdoor pool was closed, and when asked about it, the staff said it was due to not having a new health and safety check done on it.”

”I’ve stayed at this location several times and this time by far was the worst!!! Drunk people everywhere, trash everywhere. There wasn’t enough towels in my rooms. Mildred smell thru out the hotel.”

”Two of us had to go to Van Buren and I made reservations thru Expedia when I called to let them know we were in town they couldn’t find my reservation when I called back to see if it show up in system lady said she couldn’t reach me and my card declined so she canceled my reservation. I told her that wasn’t possible it showed pending. She said it would come off in a day or two. When we arrived at motel my friend paid and we left next morning. ”Room was clean and staff was friendly. My mqin issue is. I asked for an ADA room and I was given a room with a normal bathroom no rails or extra space. It was on thr bottom floor . I reserved and paid ahead we did have a late night arrival. I am just recovering from a temporary injury but anyone using a wheelchair or walker full time ahould double. Heck this amenity. Some of the furniture is a but run down. The parking lot is crazy trying to figure out how to get in especially at night.”
