Detached house (120 m²) with enclosed grounds (160 m²) and open land, within the castle walls of a picturesque village on the banks of the Loire River. The village of Arlempdes (altitude 870 m) is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Beautiful beaches (reservoirs) for swimming (unsupervised) along the Loire River in Arlempdes.

Places to see: remains of the first Loire Valley château, the village of Arlempdes (listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France), Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc (the source of the Loire), the Auberge Rouge de Peyrebeille and its history, the Beaume waterfall, the town of Le Puy-en-Velay (old town, cathedral, Notre Dame de France statue, Saint-Michel chapel). All shops and services are available in Costaros (7km).

Markets: Monday in Costaros (7km), Tuesday in Landos (7km), Wednesday in Coucouron, Thursday in Yssingeaux, and Saturday in Le Puy-en-Velay (Place du Plot, 25km). This gîte is located at the southern tip of Auvergne and a few kilometers from Ardèche and Lozère.

We carefully renovated it in early 2017, respecting its original character.

On the ground floor: living room with fireplace, large living room (TV) opening onto a covered terrace with an open-plan kitchen.

First floor: 1 bedroom with mezzanine (2 double beds).

Garden level: 2 bedrooms (3 double beds, 1 single bed, 1 crib), 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, 2 toilets.

Baby equipment: high chair, bed, toilet seat, etc.

Supplement per pet: €30
Single bed linen / Double bed linen / Towels / Household linen: €15.
Firewood: €3 per load (first fire free)

Rate includes: end-of-stay cleaning (however, the cottage must be tidied, the trash and dishwasher emptied, bed linens must be collected in the same place, and the bathrooms must be in a proper state of cleanliness), heating, and electricity, subject to reasonable consumption.

Optional services to be paid on site and reserved before arrival:
