Uusi käsityöläinen Lakefront Home Smithin järvellä

Kaunis Craftsman Lakefront koti sijaitsee rauhallisella poukamassa Hampton osasto. Rakennettu vuonna 2017!

Tämä talo sopii suurille perheille tai kaveriporukalle, joka kokoontuu yhteen ja nauttii järvielämää. Se on 3-kerroksinen talo, jossa 4 100 neliöjalkaa lämmitettyä ja viilentynyttä oleskelutilaa, jossa 1500 neliömetriä kuistia ja parveke. Jokaisessa kerroksessa on 60 "litteä televisio, jossa surround-äänentoisto pääteollisuudella ja koko kotimusiikki tärkeimmissä oleskelutiloissa ja kuistilla. Talossa on 6 makuuhuonetta, 4 täyttä kylpyammeet ja 1 kerrossänky kaikissa huoneissa, joista on näköala järvelle. Talo on myös kaasugrilli päätason kuisti; foosball-pöytä ylemmällä tasolla; jääpalakone (pellettijää!) ja biljardipöytä alemman tason. Nauti omasta veneestä, jossa uimapenkki, mela-alus, putket, kellukkeet ja Lilly-tyyny.

  • Final resting place for Brother Joseph, who created the art that is known as Ave Maria Grotto.This is a cemetery of only monks in residence at St. Bernard Abbey. Ave Maria Grotto, in Cullman, Alabama, is a landscaped, 4-acre park in an old quarry on the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey, providing a garden setting for 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous religious structures of the world. It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on February 24, 1976, and to the National Register of Historic Places on January 19, 1984. The stone and concrete models are the work of Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk of St. Bernard's Abbey, who devoted some 50 years to the project, the last three decades (1932 to 1961) almost without interruption. They incorporate discarded building supplies, bricks, marbles, tiles, pipes, sea shells, marbles, plastic animals, costume jewellery, toilet bowl floats and cold cream jars. Born in 1878 in the Kingdom of Bavaria, Brother Joseph was maimed in an accident that left him slightly hunched due to cervical kyphosis. He immigrated to the United States as a teenager, settling in northern Alabama. Soon afterward he began studying at the newly founded Benedictine monastery of St. Bernard, where he took his vows in 1897. Br. Joseph was not allowed to be ordained as a priest, due to the rule of the period that stated any man with a distracting disability could not be ordained a priest. He ran the monastery’s power plant and was, even by a monk's standards, a withdrawn, quiet man. Brother Joseph rarely left Alabama, where he died in 1961.

We went for a Sunday School retreat weekend. It was a perfect setup for group sessions and breakout sessions. The area is very quiet and peaceful.

We celebrated my husband’s 55th birthday with family and friends. Daniel the host was more than accommodating. He let us check in early and check out late. I know this could not have happened if he was expecting new guests. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. The views were amazing. My husband said this was his best birthday. We will definitely be back.

The house is beautiful and well stocked. Perfectly laid out for a multi family gathering.We weren't expecting the dirt road or the incredibly steep driveway to get there but we managed fine. Just be prepared. Parking was a bit tricky if you have multiple vehicles but the owners did provide instructions inside for efficient patking. Daniel was very responsive to questions. Would love to go back when its warm to take full advanted of the dock/lake amenities

This was our second stay in this home and we love everything about it. The dock and kitchen are stocked with anything you might need at the lake. Upgrades to the home were noticeable and much appreciated. Daniel was quick to respond to any messages we sent. The slew is quiet and calm making for a restful and fun week on the lake! 10/10 would recommend!

Family vacation to Smith Lake

Daniel was an awesome host. Quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We had a slight issue with the HVAC, assessment/repair personnel came to the house promptly. I lost my cellphone at the property. Cleaning crew and owner were advised. Hopefully it will be located. Overall, the house was nice, cleaned and stocked with essentials for cooking, washing clothes and streaming Netflix, Hulu and Wi-Fi was spot on. The driveway......, 4WD came in handy. Little steeper than expected, it is on the lake, just the drop was exhilarating. The view from the 3rd floor balcony was bird-like. I was able to see the whole cove and branch of the lake. Quite relaxing, especially after majority of the family left. I had the place to myself for an hour before leaving. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Again, thank you Daniel for all your assistance.

Photos Don’t Do This Place Justice!

Beautiful, spacious home with amazing lake views! My family truly enjoyed our stay at Pittman Rock. The house was super clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to make all meals, which was a plus considering not too many places DoorDash to the area. The only downside, in my opinion, is the steep driveway and gravel road leading to/from the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Lewis Smith Lake House

Great house with lots of space for a big gathering. Beautiful views and very peaceful. 2nd time at the house and would recommend it to anyone. Driveway is a bit intimidating, but worth it.

Beautiful Fall Getaway

This our second time at this property over Thanksgiving. The fall color is gorgeous this time of year. Well-stocked and tons of space for our family of ten. The only downside of this house is that it is a little hard to get to- over an hour from the highway, and the steep gravel road is unnerving the first time. No cell reception but the WiFi is great. Lots of great hiking around (though it does require 30-40 minutes of driving for most of it).

Beautiful lake house!

House was spacious with great lake views. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Owner promptly answered any questions. Beds comfy. Would highly recommend.

Arley at the Pittman’s lake house

We had a wonderful time. This house has 3 levels of rooms so great for 3-4 separate families staying together. The driveway getting back up almost requires 4 wheel drive especially if it had been rainy. No more than 5 vehicles can park and maneuver around the other. It is clean but it’s also in need of a deep cleaning (Like cob webs being knocked down, dusting the trim on the staircases and ceiling fans). A house that size probably needs a deep cleaning quarterly or at least twice during prime season. We would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful place to gather with friends.

This house is so beautiful and its location on Smith Lake has gorgeous views. We had a total of 15 people for the weekend and there was plenty of room to spread out. You can see that everything about the house and the property is well taken care of. The driveway was VERY steep but we were still able to carefully fit 8 cars close to the house. The open spaces on all 3 floors made it easy for everyone to spend time together. You can eat, drink, cook, watch TV, play pool or foosball, games OR hang our on one of the 3 beautiful decks to overlook the lake. I'm sure there's even more to do when the weather is hot and you can take advantage of the lake. It rained most of our visit but that didn't hinder us in the least from having a blast. I highly recommend staying here!

Coach’s 60th

We brought together men that hadn’t seen each other in 30 years to celebrate our beloved HS football coaches 60th birthday. The house made this get together by far more than we could have expected. Plenty of space and well kept plus just wow the views!! We were treated with the best weather and ample space to spread out and have room to catch up. We definitely talked about a return trip to this beautiful place and thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven.

Wonderful time together; billiards, foosball and lake!

This house is really wonderful. It is light and airy, with amazing windows, lovely decks, high ceilings and well laid out spaces. We had a crew of 11 ranging from 10 to 85, and everyone loved the house and the dock. The spaces in the house are really nicely laid out, with plenty of places for people to go read a book or enjoy the view, yet nicely constructed so that people naturally came together in the 3 main social spaces, especially the ground floor kitchen/living room. Having 2 en suite rooms (master and another) on the main floor was fantastic, as we had 2 different people with knee injuries. We did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen is well laid out and spacious. The only improvement we would recommend would be more plates, cups and flatware, and a slightly longer dining room table with 2-3 more chairs, so plates and seating match the bed count. However, it all worked out, so long as we stayed on top of the dishes. The dock had lots of toys available for renters, and we really enjoyed the lilypad, paddle boards and kayaks. Neighbors were all very nice, as well. Overall, this was one of our favorate Smith lake rentals, ever. We have already re-booked for next year.
