”Our stay was really great. Location is perfect, just by the lake. Our room was great and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing and diverse. Tysm!”

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”We stayed 3 nights over the weekend and the worst among all our experience stayed at BW! The room is small, the AC is VERY loud, bed isn’t comfortable. In addition to above $400 per night for Friday and Saturday, $15 parking fee per night is ridiculous, and not mentioning the service! they ONLy clean room when you hang the door hanger outside your room indicating a “room make up” WITHIN certain time. So if you forget to hang the door hanger per their INSTRUCTION, they won’t clean your room even...

”The property is beautiful with fun shops to explore and wonderful restaurants to enjoy with both indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I took the gondola to the top where we enjoyed the views and a hike. When it was time to check-in to the hotel the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful offering advice on breakfast options. This part of the trip was 5 starts. Our trip dropped to 1 star at 2 am when a loud and boisterous crowd arrived in the room above ours. I made a call to...

”We stayed here on a Saturday night and our room overlooked the main street. Apparently there is a nightclub across the street with extremely loud techno music and without any AC in the summer, we didn’t have the option to close the windows. It was so loud, it almost felt like we were inside the club. That, and the train goes right past the inn which is super loud and then the street noise below. Needless to say, we barely slept. I would have asked for another room but there is no front desk....

”The key cards didnt work so every time we entered our room, from the swimming pool, hiking, dinner we had to go to the front desk and ask for thrm to be set after standing at our door trying them. A wedding used all of the area around the pool and you can hear other guests stomping their feet at night. Little sleep. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were a bright spot. Run down furnishings in the room for the cost.”

”After many phones calls and the help of the maintenance man we got in our room way late do to the stupid code to the door lock. The link was never accessible and had to wait a long time to get a phone call returned.”
