Step into Knotty Pine Palace, a cozy Sierra cabin retreat that feels straight out of a Hallmark movie — nestled in the highly sought-after Lakemont Pines private lake community, available exclusively to homeowners and guests. Enjoy private lake access with swimming docks, sandy beaches, a snack shack, and free use of paddleboards, kayaks, and boats during the season. With family-friendly activities and peaceful forest surroundings, it’s the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

The Cabin
This single-story, newly remodeled cabin features a warm, open-concept layout with soaring pine ceilings that create an inviting mountain ambiance. The living area is ideal for gathering after a day outdoors, complete with:
•Gas log stove for cozy evenings
•Central heat & air conditioning for year-round comfort
•High-speed Wi-Fi to stay connected
•The home comfortably sleeps 7 guests and includes:
•Primary suite with private bathroom
•Second bedroom with queen bed
•Third bedroom with bunk bed (double on bottom, twin on top)

Outdoor Living
You may never want to leave the deck! Designed for relaxing and entertaining, the outdoor space includes:
•Comfortable outdoor seating and tables
•Propane fire pit for evening gatherings
•Propane BBQ for outdoor meals
•Private hot tub for soaking under the stars

Whether you’re playing horseshoes, sharing card games, or unwinding after a lake day, Knotty Pine Palace invites you to slow down and savor mountain life.

Pet-Friendly
Well-behaved, housebroken dogs are welcome (max 2, over 1 year old). Dogs may not be left unattended. $50 non-refundable pet fee. Please include pet details in your reservation notes.

Great House

Lakemont Pines is our happy place. This was a great rental. Kitchen and dining area was well stocked and a great layout. Couch was super comfortable. Lots of TV channels. Host was very responsive. Nice to have laundry.

Great place ***

The home is wonderful. Understated elegance. Would stay again. Shampoo, welcome bottle of wine, snacks. Great hot-tub, BBQ. Rooms very comfortable, 2 bathrooms very clean. Excellent well equiped kitchen. Big TV, I assume it works, we never tried it.Several comments, and not negative at all, just info. 1) another property only 30’ away, was worried about privacy on the wonderful, fenced, dog friendly, deck, but the neighbors have a privacy screen on their deck so privacy at the rental wasn't an issue. 2) We had all assumed by looking at the pictures that it was on the lake, or at least had a view of it... NOT... the lake is an easy 9 min. walk away. 3) Just strictly a FYI; the coffee maker takes bulk coffee with the cone style filters. There was filters and they generiously had supplied coffee; but if you wantes something special...

The house was a perfect short stay rental with all the bell and whistles. The house was decorated very cute with everything you need for cooking. The house had a hot tub, swings, horse shoes and board games to keep our 2 and 5 year old kids occupied. we went skiing and sledding at bear valley which is about a 45 minute drive

Wonderful, warm, and beautifully decorated cabin. We made two big holiday meals and appreciated all the cooking supplies available. My son’s favorite was relaxing in the hot tub and looking up at the stars. Great place to stay!

Naughty Pines Palace (as shown on the robes provided)

This is one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed at in Lakemont Pines. Beautifully furnished with everything up-to-date. Cupboards and drawers filled with every utensil you could possibly need or want. Beautiful, well furnished deck and the hot tub was a real plus. Air conditioning was also a bonus. The only negatives were very minor: definitely not much curb appeal and a little bit too close to the neighbors.

Lovely & Peaceful!

Our stay was too short! We loved our time at the lake, our time on the back deck for breakfast & dinners and the layout of the cabin was very nice. The kitchen was large and had all the necessities for cooking at home which we enjoy doing with our family gatherings. I would highly recommend this place for small groups.

Escape to Serenity

Our recent stay exceeded our expectations. The cabin was exactly as described, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat for our weekend getaway. One of the highlights was being able to bring our beloved little dog, Coby, along for the trip. Our teenagers had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and the hot tub for relaxing evenings. The cabin's amenities, including the well-appointed kitchen, made meal preparation a breeze. Plus, the convenience of a nearby supermarket made stocking up on essentials easy. The location was perfect for our outdoor adventures, with Big Trees just a short drive away and the lake offering opportunities for fishing and sunbathing on the beach. After a delicious dinner in quintessential downtown Murphys, we enjoyed unwinding with a scary movie in the cozy living room before retiring to the super comfy beds for a restful night's sleep. Overall, our stay at this cabin was memorable and enjoyable, providing the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a getaway in Arnold, CA.

Lovely stay in a perfect house

We enjoyed this house so much! The perfect design for a family stay. Great living space, spacious kitchen, nice beds. Just a short walk to the lake, short drive to the club house/beach. Easy in and out driveway. We enjoyed the back deck every morning and evening. *not a deal breaker but the dishes weren’t clean, had to wash a lot of things before use*

Nice house

If you know the area this is a nice place, especially nice if you have dogs I guess. The listing doesn’t mention that it has AC but fortunately it does - it was our first time in Arnold and we were surprised how hot it was considering it’s at 5K elevation. The lake is close - less than a mile drive/walk but the house is not on the lake as shown on the listing map. Nice house, great kitchen and patio space. Nice mattress in master and pretty comfy living room couch as well. Only issue was that there really is no yard space for kids. The front and backyards are pretty uninviting and the backyard had foot high weeds throughout. Linens in master bedroom do need to be replaced.

Great Gold Country Home

We had a fabulous time at the Knotty Pine! The location was great for wine tasting, golf and hiking. We also had some delicious meals at local restaurants. The house is beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen, nice sitting areas in the great room and deck and a washer/dryer. Our pal from Scotland really enjoyed the trip too! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Amazing Views to Remember. My family and I loved everything about this cabin.
