”The room was clean and adequately big, the breakfast was good and parking was free, The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too high for us. The AC unit was very noisy and didn’t run well. My husband cranked up the temperature, so the AC wouldn’t run so much and we could sleep. This, unfortunately, made me feel very hot and sweaty and I still couldn’t sleep much.”

From the friendly staff to conveniently located bathrooms by the swimming pool and absolutely wonderful breakfast! This hotel offers all the relaxation you look forward to on a vacation. And bonus, the location and view are one of a kind. Always very happy with my stay.”

”We stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was great. Can’t say the same for this visit. First of all when we checked into our room there were two candy rappers on the floor. How the maid could miss it was beyond me. The second issue was the rug. It was filthy and worn. I almost tripped several times because it appeared the padding underneath was so worn it created bumps. Plus there is no way you can ever get the rug clean even if it was professional cleaned. Additionally, yesterday when...

”Motel like. Outside access to rooms, curtains leave enough room look in unless you tuck them in the door. No parking due.to trucks and construction equipment using the back space. Noise outside constantly as people walk by. Location is sub par also. Will not make this mistake again with all of the other options. Bathroom light switch is on the outside, so late night trips wake up the masses. And the pool... don't do it.”

”This was an overnight stay for a family memorial service. The hotel staff were friendly. Breakfast had a nice selection and the buffet was clean and restocked continuously. Our room was clean. My only complaint is that the heat/air unit in the room was filthy which was concerning in regards to air quality. Bringing my air purifier would have remedied this. I would stay again.”

”The Anchor @ Hidden Harbor is a true gem of Deale, MD. Great staff, clean & functional rooms, the boathouse restaurant & bar just outside the front door. Great for families and boaters! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Deale. ”
