”We arrived too early--before check in time-- to a smiling and gracious host who was finishing up the cleaning from after the last group. He could not have been more welcoming. The place was immaculate, very spacious, near the trail, everything we needed. The train sounds in the night were a challenge. Ear plugs help. Everything else was perfect. We found some local music and food truck organized by Bloom Brewery in the evening. Breakfast options were scarce since Gary's Chuck Wagon was closed.”

”The good: bed was comfy, shower had good pressure and hot water, and price was great.
The bad: landscaping for the property was not done, looked awful, exterior looked awful, the bed only came with a fitted sheet, which I found weird, not sure if it was on purpose or accident, I tried to contact host by email, no response.
Overall, if astetics don't matter, good place for a quick visit.”

”We had a fantastic stay at the Secluded Chalet near Ohiopyle and Seven Springs. Our friends had rented the Bear Rocks community center for a get-together, so we decided to stay nearby—and it ended up being the perfect choice. We’ve actually been considering moving to the Bear Rocks area, so this gave us a great feel for what it’s like to spend time there. The chalet itself is tucked away among beautiful mountain laurels, giving it a quiet, private feel that really lets you unwind. There’s a cozy...

”This was a first time renting an a vacation home and it was wonderful. Everything was well stocked. Anything I may have forgotten was there. If I had to have anything negative to say it would only be that the stairs to the bedrooms creaked very badly. But that’s the way all older homes are in Pittsburgh. Maybe if there was carpet on the stairs it would help but it was NOT a deal breaker. Overall it’s a good place to stay at 100%. The owner was very responsive and helpful!”
