”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”

”I was part of a group of 5 with DB reservations. 3 arrived in advance and told us not to come. I tried to get out if this reservation in advance Inc calling from a flight. They were adamant that no refunds would be given. The advanced party were correct. The room had not been cleaned, it had mold in the bathroom, used toilet tissue left on the floor, at least 5 spiders crawling around. All of this I have on video. Horrendous does describe it. ”The hotel review rating is overrated in my opinion. The hallway to our room smelled aweful. The carpet in the room was stained a lot and seemed not been vacuumed. There were dark hair on the bedding and pillow. The restroom had many dark spots between the tiles especially at the shower. Everything seemed outdated. The parking infront of the entrance was good though. The breakfast was not good at all either. Food tasted bland and bacon was cold. Nothing fresh of vegetables or fruits. ”

”While the beds were clean, that was about the only positive aspect of our stay. The property itself is in disrepair and poorly maintained. In our room, there was a strip of metal drywall edging literally ripped off and left dangling from the wall, and the walls themselves were stained, grimy, and heavily scuffed. To make matters worse, our room was directly above the main entrance, making it loud and disruptive throughout the night. I would absolutely not stay at Queen of the Loch again and...

”Fabulous stay just for one night - lovely Hotel made very welcome when I arrived. Very well maintained and very comfortable and spacious room. Great location for the railway station. One of the best Hotel’s I have stayed in - and dog friendly. Will certainly return nothing not to like.”
