”Great location close to the beach and a 20 min walk to the Town. Nice owner and good cleaning, especially after the mess my kids make! Apartment had everything that was needed and was very nicely furnished. I look forward to coming back again!”

”The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra.”

”Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. ”

”Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean.”

It has probably the best view over the sea and we saw some incredible sunrises over Skopelos.Katerina is such a warm and kind person that we constantly felt well an comfortable. ”Beds were really bad. Bed bases feel when you try to sleep. In freezer were someones food. There are also spiderwebs at corners. Our room was in basement and was very dark. Everything needs renovation.”

”A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. ”

”The apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and very well equipped with air conditioning and a large balcony. The location is brilliant, close to all the restaurants, shops, the harbour and buses to the beaches. Marietta, the owner, is very attentive, helpful and a lovely person who seems to go the extra mile for her guests. I would definitely stay at Polykratis again if I return to Skiathos - which is a beautiful island. ”

”We, a family 2,5 and 4,5 year old kids spent a week on Skiathos at the end of September 2011. The taxi driver taking us to the hotel from the airport "encouraged" us by saying that we have truly selected the wrong place as the only possibilities to get there with small kids would be either to take a taxi every time or to rent a car for the whole week. ”I was only here for an overnight stay before catching the ferry to Skopolos. I arrived late evening and was greeted with a friendly smile and lots of helpful information to help me find dinner. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy and quiet. I’ll have to say longer next visit. ”
