”The cottage was very nice and had everything you need. But no dresser and no freezer. Mini fridge was perfect since we did not cook but made sandwiches. There is a hot water kettle, nescafe coffee maker, a toaster, coffee pods, teapots and pans, cups plates etc It was very comfortable. We did laundry in the washer drier combo. It has an electric car charger upfront if you are driving an EV vehicle. The horses came by to meet us.”

We really enjoyed our stay and were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights on our last night here, which made the experience even more special!”

”It was a place to rest our heads, but unfortunately the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was visible dirt throughout the room, and several surfaces that should have been wiped down clearly hadn’t been. The water also had a noticeable sulfur smell, which we understand is normal in Iceland. However, it would have been helpful if there had been a note explaining this, as we weren’t sure whether the tap water was safe to drink. Also, the description said that there was no parking and...

”Lovely cabin :well appointed: comfortable bed. But long drive from town 28km and half of it is (currently) a gravel road. It’s a beautiful place. We walked across field to waterfall. Views of the volcano. Nice respite but know you have a drive from the highway/town”
