    The Space:

    Enjoy a Blue Ridge mountain getaway at this gorgeous three-bedroom retreat. Just a short drive from downtown Asheville and within a short walk/bike from numerous trails on the Bent Creek trail system in Pisgah National Forest, this spacious home offers a quiet location equipped for family-friendly convenience. A large yard provides plenty of room to spread out while enjoying time together - the family dogs will love it to! Fire up the gas grill for a classic Carolina barbecue and enjoy backyard entertainment with a few rounds of cornhole. In the evenings, gather around the wood-burning firepit for s'mores and starlight conversation. A fully enclosed porch extension off the kitchen features a beautiful array of screened windows and skylight, with a patio table and armchairs furnished for all-season comfort. Plan at-home entrées with ease in the gorgeous, updated kitchen equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, cookware and utensils, including a dishwasher for stress-free cleanup. There's breakfast bar seating for three and the indoor dining table can accommodate up to six for sit-down meals. After the day's adventures, unwind in the living room while streaming your favorite shows on the smart TV or head down to the game room for some happy hour fun with a classic board game or a family movie night on the smart TV. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer and dryer.

  • All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.

Excellent weekend stay

We were in Asheville for a baseball tournament, and this was the perfect house for our family! Tons of space, spotless and easy to get all around town.

Overall a very nice home in a pleasant neighborhood with a wonderful back porch to enjoy the trees/forest behind the property. Also a short walk to a nice little playground around the corner if you have younger kids.

Great home base for Asheville trip

Our group of seven enjoyed our stay at Nature's Edge. The house was very clean and supplied with everything needed for our four day stay. We loved the quiet location for our dog. The backyard was fenced and there was a little park just down the road for him to run around. We appreciated the dog blankets and the rags located outside to clean his paws. The neighborhood is very family friendly and was it was easy to get to everything we wanted to visit in Asheville. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to the area.

Love the area and the place we stayed was good for the money. One big problem was getting in the apartment on three different times. They need to make it easier to get in the place with a simply code and make sure numbers are not sticking on keypads. Then we would rent next year again and maybe rent two more for family. Please let me know if this is fixed and if they offer a discount for return guests.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

We needed a family friendly house with a backyard for the kids. We got just that and the park/playground in walking distance was a huge added bonus. The kids also loved playing in the basement game room. It was amazing that linens/towels, etc. were all included and that there was not a large list of things to do for check out. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was def not in the Lake Junaluska property it was across the street in a campground with NO view of the Lake! Bed was uncomfortable and they closed the laundry facility!! Do better Management

Very nice spot with great views!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much! The views are spectacular, and the area is much nicer than a hotel room. My only negative is that the mattress on the bed needs to be replaced. They have a topper on it, but our backs hurt for days after our stay due to the mattress's lack of support. We considered sleeping on the pull-out couch; it was that bad. Still, I'd recommend it overall. It's quaint, cute, and a nice getaway.

Almost perfect for the price

Location at the campground was great for walking, swimming, or just relaxing on the porch. My wife and I took turns in rocking chair. Would be nice to have two chairs. Just a couple miles from Maggie Valley or Waynesville. Lots to do and great weekend together, would like to stay again next year but we are older and had trouble with code and entry. Still think we were using the right numbers. Maybe it was us or the keypad numbers sticking.

Room was like a small apartment- clean, spacious, and homey. They had 'extras' there to make the stay more comfortable, all well thought out. Definitely recommend.

Great Weekend!

The little apartment was just what we needed. Very clean and easy to warm up a meal prepared ahead at home in the cute kitchen. Big bed was very comfortable. My family found the key box on the rail (opposite the door), but I am not sure I would have spotted that.

Ideal for a quick getaway

Apt location was great. Very clean and maintained well with good amenities. Good value. Internet connection was good. Allowed our family to enjoy the lake and participate in all of July 4th weekend activities.
