”歴史ある建物はもちろんのこと、紅葉の時期に行ったので庭のモミジも建物とのコントラストが綺麗でチェックイン後、日が暮れるまで散策を楽しんだ。 夕食も年季のあるホールは小綺麗で席と席の間隔も広くまわりの客を気にせず話せそうだったので、ボジョレー解禁日ということもあり、記念に頼んだがディナーとの相性も良く美味しく頂いた。 かなり年季の入った建物なので寒さが心配だったが、スチームヒーターの効きも良く、就寝前に弱めるほどだった。 大人気の日光東照宮の入り口目の前にあるホテルなのに、奥まったところに建っていて全く喧騒も気にならず予想以上に静かに過ごせて大満足の一泊だった。”

”Super helpful and friendly staff gave us good information about the surrounding area. You could make coffee/tea whenever and there was a shared fridge, microwave etc. You could also take a bath in a traditional japanese hot spring bath which was amazing! We had a japanese style room which was so cute but the futon bed was a bit uncomfortable for us. Would definitely stay here again!”

”It was a great experience staying in a traditional ryokan, visit an onsen (public bath) and use a yukata (Japanese robe). Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. A futon mattress would have made the experience even better, but the down duvet was wonderful.”

Tem que observar que os restaurantes da cidade fecham cedo (pelo menos durante a semana) e o transporte público também para de funcionar cedo. O restaurante do hotel funciona para café da manhã e só. Num dis chuvoso, que voltamos cedo para o hotel, dormimos com fome, porque o hotel não disponibiliza nada para comer e, não...
