Tule vetäytymään meidän keidasamme loman aikana Ashlandissa! Viehättävä 1 makuuhuone, 2 kylpyhuonetta kotiin, kaukana kiireisestä bulevardista, jossa on kaunis ulkotila rentoutumiseen. Meidän mökki on yli 1000 neliömetriä ja siinä on täydellinen keittiö ja viihtyisä oleskelutila. On vetäytyminen sohva, joka muuntaa täysikokoiseksi, flexsteel (ei metallia baari juoksee alas keskellä kuin useimmat vuodesohvat) sänky. Yläkerrassa on kaunis queen-size-vuode, jossa on laadukkaat liinavaatteet, höyhenpohjallinen, kylpyamme, oleskelualue ja toimistotila. Alakerrassa on viihtyisä oleskelutila, hyvin varustettu keittiö, vuodesohva ja ylimääräinen kylpyamme. Paljon yksityisyyttä kahdelle pariskunnalle tai perheenjäsenelle. Jokainen tarina on yli 500 sf ja täynnä valoa ikkunoiden runsaudesta. On off street parking ja se on helppo kävellä keskustaan!

This rental home is lovely. It feels like staying in a place well-loved by its owner, with many personal touches such as its vibrant Oriental rugs and an audio system with treasured records that the guest is trusted to enjoy and care for as one would staying with a friend.The host, Arnica, is attentive and accommodating, willing to help if needed. As an example, I asked for a recommendation of where to buy a rain poncho and she said she would lend me hers. But when she didn't find it, she brought over a new umbrella for our use.The house is in a quiet area and although close to other homes, feels private. It was a nice size for just two of us but could easily accommodate another person or couple with its two bathrooms and two floors. We found most things we needed in the kitchen and appreciated the stainless steel cookware - a welcome change from cheap and damaged/toxic nonstick cookware we have encountered in other vacation rentals. Some basic cooking ingredients are also on hand such as a good quality olive oil. We found the heater a bit loud but so much else recommends this place we would certainly want to stay again.

It really is a quiet and peaceful cottage. Very cozy and well thought out. Small but well equipped kitchen. Lovey private back garden. The upstairs is very spacious with sitting area, extremely comfortable bed and an extra space that has a desk, many books, and a record player with tons of records. Communication with the host was excellent. I will definitely book again when in Ashland!

Even nicer than we anticipated. The added bonus was a fenced area for the dogs. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking. Arnica was prompt in responding to any inquiries. Will stay here on my next visit to Ashland.

I loved this property! It was so charming and quiet. Our host was helpful and welcoming and made it easy for us to move in. The cottage was very convenient for shopping and attending the theater in Ashland. I traveled with three other adults and despite only having one bedroom it was quite possible for four adults to sleep comfortably. We traveled with a dog and the host made this very welcome environment to us and our pets. It was also great that there is a lovely little shady park only about a block away. I look forward to staying here again the next time I am in Ashland. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Getaway

I couldn't ask for a nicer spot to stay. The backyard is a wonderful place to eat dinner or lie in the hammock. The bedroom was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is great, just a quick walk to Safeway. It is a little longer to walk downtown, but can be done quickly in 10-20 minutes. You can also walk to North Mountain Park in about the same amount of time to watch a beautiful sunset. I was a little unsure about the skylight over the bed before I came. You can't see it from the photos, but there is a stained glass style film over both of them. The light gets in, but it isn't direct light. And because of the way the house is situated, you aren't getting direct light until noon from that window anyway. In the summer, anyway, your times may vary according to season.

Fantastic Cottage

What a lovely, well put together cottage. Our host kindly let us check in an hour early to get ready for a wedding. The floors were freshly mopped and everything sparkled. I loved the cute little garden outside.

Lovely cottage and accommodating host

The cottage is tucked away from the main road, so it was very private. The back yard is welcoming and perfect for small outdoor gatherings. The check-in and check-out were a breeze and Arnica is very easy to communicate with. Next time we go to Ashland, we'll want to stay again.

Relaxing home in Ashland

I had a great time in Ashland. This is in walking distance to Safeway, coffee shop and downtown area. All we did was explore. Great yard for doggies. They loved it! The home had all the basics so if you want to cook, it’s great! There were plenty of heaters around the home to keep you comfy. I had trouble with checking in due to key problems but that was quickly fixed by the owner. Communication throughout the stay wasn’t good but it wasn’t their fault. It was the VRBO app. My experience was good otherwise. If you need anything, I would recommend having a phone number as a secondary option to communicate.

My daughter, my dog and I had a wonderful stay in this guest house! Perfect location? Ideal for dogs (doggy door and fenced yard), and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

I felt like a DJ!

I loved the record collection and turntable so much! So many old favorites. That was a highlight, but really- this place is so charming. Vintage furniture mixed with functional appliances, great outside spaces. The bed was heavenly. Quiet enough at night I could hear a Great Horned Owl calling from nearby.

I felt that everything was well thought out and had everything we needed and then some for our 2 night stay. My daughter and her husband stayed upstairs and were pleasantly surprised with the working turntable and great selection of LPs. I loved the patio and location close to parks, restaurants and shopping. In case you're concerned, the pull out bed with the foam pad on top was fine (I'm 70)

Wonderful home in a great location

We stayed a month in Arnica’s lovely home. It is a five minute walk to Safeway and fifteen minutes to downtown, the Shakespeare Festival and Lithia Park. The house was clean, with a very comfortable bed upstairs and two air conditioners that cooled the house well during hot days. The kitchen was great for cooking most meals and we used the grill on the patio extensively. We had coffee and breakfast, as well as wine in the afternoon, on the patio. Our dog appreciated the fenced in yard so he could watch squirrels and neighborhood cats. We would certainly stay here again!

Summer with friends

Had a great stay in this Ashland cottage. Perfect size for 2. Had everything one could need. Lots of extra linens, nice plush towels. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. Upstairs bed super comfy. Slept like a baby! Backyard is beautiful! Nice and shady, great hammock. Location is easy walk to downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Location great

The cottage was roomy for two and our dog. Backyard fenced and private although many houses very close, seemed private though. Great amenities for cooking and we did. We stayed to attend OSF and watched three plays. Overall excellent place we would stay again.

Excellent location

The proximity to downtown Ashland was great. It was easy to get to all of the necessities.The host was very responsive to any needs that occurred during my one-month stay.
