”The carpet in my room was filthy; total black feet bottoms after walking in the room for 20 minutes. I reported it, and it only got slightly better. But my major complaint was the mattresses and the Tyvek feeling sheets. It's an older property and really needs a refresh. But worst beds and bedding I have ever experienced. This place is about location, location, location -- it was perfect for where I needed to be. But now I've been there I see other properties nearby that I will try next...

”The location was good, easy to walk to town. Elevator was slow, hotel layout is a little confusing, limited parking on site so we had to park on the street, and breakfast was okay.”

”The property is very charming, and comfortable with beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. The breakfast choices were delicious and dinner was also exceptional. Staff is very warm, friendly and helpful. I recommend highly.”

”It looked like there hotel was being brought up to date with new TVs and recent painting inside my room. The walks seemed a bit thin as I could hear a baby cry off and on for several hours in the afternoon. I couldn’t figure out how to get the local channels either the remote so just used my iPad Good WiFi”

”This is a cute retro themed motel with a nice pool and friendly staff. I got room 1 with a kitchenette and while tiny, I had a small stove, mid size fridge and a microwave. There were adequate pots and pans and dishes/utensils to do a few basic things. Spices are salt and pepper only. No breakfast. The furnishings were nice and the room is clean. It is a 15 minute walk to OSF or 5 minutes by car. There is a parking lot. It was a good value.”

”This was a unique find. The grounds were beautiful and the room was very comfortable and clean. We visited late summer so it was very quiet on the property.”

”Clean, quiet, bright room, easy access, walk to restaurants/pub, Mexican restaurant next door with dog friendly patio, vacant lot on other side to walk dogs, inexpensive but a $20 fee for dog.”

”Location location location! Very close to all the OSF facilities. Very close to lots of restaurants. Thoughtful staff and wonderful breakfast. We had to leave early our last morning and they prepared a take away breakfast. The furnishings are a little tired but everything else was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.”
