”Lovely hotel / inn with huge stylish bedrooms and fantastic bar with open fire. Food (fresh pizza) was amazing - some really interesting flavours. Breakfast fresh and very hearty. Highly recommended! Can’t remember the last time I went to a hotel this good.”

”The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out..”

”We had the most wonderful stay at East View – it truly felt homely, comfortable, and cosy from the moment we arrived. The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace.
Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable. Her warm hospitality really...

”The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. ”Room was great with amazing views. Friendly and lovely staff.. Great location. Also, high compliments for the food we had there. We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. ”Excellent accommodation, perfect for exploring the lakes. Just off the A66 with plenty of parking. I stayed 3 nights in the single room. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. Great food with vegetarian and vegan option. Very reasonably priced and friendly and helpful hosts, I would highly recommend. ”
