”We tried to call reception at night as we had an issue with the bed allocation, but despite ringing twice, noone answered the phone. No additional bedding in room if required, and I do think that reception should be manned 24hrs or at least an emergency number provided”

”Yes, please consider staying at the hotel! Both parking & breakfast are included. The rooms are warm and the water is hot in the shower (yes, sometimes it’s just barely warm in other Irish hotels). The rooms are clean and big. The decor is classic. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again.”

”Hotelli itsessään ajoi asiansa, vaikka huone ei ollut enää parhaassa mahdollisessa kunnossa. Viihtyisä ympäristö ja palvelu oli ystävällistä.”

”Ok”

”Nice facility with restaurant and pub on site. Great breakfast.”

”That’s a very cute little place, no directions at all on how to turn on different things like the TV or the stove or any of the Kitchen things that would’ve been nice to have but eventually figured it out. It was clean, quiet and a cute little place in the country.”

”Great place to stay, very homey. Staff very helpful and OMG you must eat in the pub restaurant downstairs. Food is uncommonly, unexpectantly good - one of the best dinners on the trip!!!!”

”Interesting property. I stayed in one of the wings of the main house on the 1st floor. The room was fine (the artwork in the wings and bedrooms was very incongruent to the grandeur of the main house…), pillows were really thin, and they felt a bit dated but comfortable. The windows were really small. The main section of the house/public spaces were beautiful. One thing I found odd were the number of influencers there making content, perhaps for the new spa?”

”Older style of hotel with incredible staff and excellent value for the money. Large lobby areas where we saw travelers and families with kids playing while adults enjoyed drinks from the in-house pub and conversation. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was top notch with staff brewing coffee and tea to order. Staff even took time to help us puzzle out complex travel situations.”

”Overall, it is a nice hotel but we had some challenges with the amenities. It offered A/C which was a rare treat, but it only worked in one of the two rooms. We were excited to see ice machines, but couldn’t find one that worked. The tvs only got 7 channels and we had to call the office to get the room next to us to quiet down after being repeatedly woken up. The food and and drink at the restaurant were good and the place was clean and people friendly, but we were disappointed.”

”Maaseutuhotelli, suuren kaupungin liepeillä, asutusalueella. Valittiin kätevän sijaintinsa vuoksi (alle tunnin ajomatka lentoasemalle), viimeiseksi yöksi ennen seur. pv paluulentoa. Kaksikerroksinen siisti ja rauhallinen paikka, jossa saa aamiaista aina keskipäivään asti. Kaikinpuolin siisti ja palvelualtis henkilökunta.”

”It was my understanding, from the ads, that the property had a washer dryer. It did not. I was told after we vacated, there was a washing machine out in the green shed !!!! The milk provided was curdled and not fit for consumption.”

”I booked this by accident and didn’t realize that it was a room, but it worked out well. It was convenient to the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable. The thing that caused me concern was that it didn’t have a private bath, but that was not an issue. We were able to use the facilities at will with no wait or inconvenience. I hadn’t stayed in a place like this before, but I would consider staying again. We had privacy. I wasn’t able to make tea in my room, but I didn’t ask for...
