”The lodge offers great scenic views over a narrow gorge and fast flowing river into the Nairobi National Park. The staff are generally helpful and very polite. The food is fine but the choice is quite limited. The rooms are clean but a little old and rough around the edges but certainly not run down. The grounds are wonderful, a large area with a lot of trees filled with wildlife - exotic butterflies, birds, rock hyrax’s and monkeys, all roaming free. ”Beautiful huts and well maintained lodge. Lunch buffet cost 1500 shilling and was not worth that amount at all! (Same for the dinner buffet that was even more expenzive) If you have booked the night game drive and dont have a car, be aware that they might not have any car ready for taking you on the game drive. One star if you go there with no kids - its like a kindergarten, very very kids-noicy! 3 stars if you go there with kids, hende dont care about the noice.”

”Caroline was the perfect host. Easily available and excellent communicator. The location is perfecr tmfor family stay and especially long stays. The amenities and access to shopping area was added value. I highly. It is not too far off the mombasa highway yet tucked neatly away in a quiet neighborhood. Security was also very vigilant about guest announcements and kids trying to ride bikes out of the safe compound.”
