”First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”

”Host Leslie was concerned about having us stay in Glamp Bernice during the 30-degree night, so she offered a heated cabin instead, which was pure delight. It is beautifully built and decorated, fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies (except we couldn't find pot holders or dish towels), and provided spectacular views through the many large windows. And it was WARM!”

”Camp Twosome was the perfect place to spend a few rainy days with spots of sunshine in the adirondacks. The view out the large windows was delightful, wonderfully framing the fall colors cascading over the mountains. Along with the view was a wonderful feeling of seclusion with the convenience of a fairly short drive into town when you need groceries or to stop at Cafe Sarah for drinks and a macaroon. The host was delightfully helpful when we stopped in to ask a quick question, and the hot tub...

”We very much enjoyed our 2 short stays at the river life cabin. The cabin is very well stocked with just about everything you could need during your stay, that was extremely helpful for us as we had to pack lightly for our trip. The addition of the pavilion over the picnic tables was amazing. The property grounds are beautiful, and I can't say enough about how accommodating the hosts were. I highly recommend and will be booking here for future trips! ”

”Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. ”
