We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.”

”One of the loveliest homes and properties we have ever stayed. The view is incredible, the location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and the home is cozy and comfortable. Our whole family loved every minute of our visit here. The fireflies at night were spectacular. The kitchen is one of the best stocked I’ve ever seen. My kids loved the crow’s nest and rocking in the chairs on the front porch was blissful. We certainly plan to return!!”

This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. ”

”Comfortable little country home with a great hot tub. Nature views, animals coming through the back yard are always pleasing. We usually come in the fall, but it was great as well in the Spring. We bike the New River trail and look forward to coming “home” and relaxing afterwards. The outdoor furnishings need some work and windows and shades need some extra cleaning attention. That view from the expansive windows is a real eye-pleaser! We added an extra day to our stay. ”

”My husband and 4 kids stayed here, and we all had a blast! Going trout fishing (which is just a drive down steep driveway and across the street) and playing in the creek all day then coming home to hot tub and grilling in the evening was amazing, lots of wildlife in the area which was very cool to see, and there was also a cherry tree close to the deck so we foraged some! April was very responsive and allowed us to extend our stay with ease. We’d definitely stay again! ”

”We enjoyed the privacy and the property was well appointed. Some of the guidance docs were hard to follow but nothing that impacted our stay. If you’re going fishing, just walk around the gated complex of hatchery ponds to pick up the trail. It’s not obvious the first time. ”

”Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see...

”Back to basics with enough modern essentials for a relaxing, rejuvenating time. Beautiful spot surrounded by trees and the soothing sound of running water from the creek. Spending time in the rocking chairs on the back porch just soaking in nature was fabulous and tranquil. Saw a fox, a deer, and a turtle... no bear sighting, which was fine by me! Had all windows open throughout the visit. Comfy bed, too! Will stay again!!”
