I would not book this place again. When I arrived, my room was not ready and I had to wait over 2½ hours after driving 4 hours to get there. I originally booked my room ahead of time, so it should have been ready when I arrived.
After waiting for a long time, I went back to the front desk and they offered me a different room than what I booked. At that point I accepted it because I didn’t want to keep waiting for them to clean the room I actually reserved.
They still charged me full price, plus an additional $100 hold for the room that I was never told about beforehand. The hotel also had a bad smell and the pool area wasn’t even open.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and the owner was rude (I believe he was the owner) when addressing the situation. He quickly told me the receptionist would help. I regret choosing this hotel and will not be returning. And I’m still waiting on my 100 dollar hold
