”Staff were excellent and friendly. Pub was welcoming and inviting. Breakfast cooked to order and very nice. Now for the room. No5 a bit dated but spacious. Bed was very firm but could feel every spring in the mattress. Shower pressure abysmal and scalding to start. Had to use a lot of force just to get the dial round to get the cold water flowing and still low pressure. Some say adds character, I’d say it lacked comfort. ”

”What an absolute gem. Situated in a quiet quaint village Wayside is the perfect getaway. My room was clean and spacious with views out onto beautiful countryside. Lovely courtyard at the entrance with seating area. Continental breakfast wanted for nothing with fresh refrigerated milk, yoghurts, orange juice, cheese grapes etc. Lovely fresh bread, toaster, kettle and all you need to use. Shower room compact and spotless. I would definitely recommend”

”Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. ”The Crown Hotel is in a quiet village. The name Hotel possibly leads you to believe something different to what this place is. That's not a moan but I would think more like B & B above a lovely old pub. The room was up 2 flights of stairs.
