”Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!”

”Beautiful clean renovation of gorgeous building on rustic property setting. Stayed one night - any longer I might have been frustrated with set up of all kitchen bits available but down stairs. We were in Berthe which is a large rm but has the most uncomfortable wicker chairs so sat on the bed. Didn’t get to the bottom of why we didn’t get checkin info automatically but when we did it was very clean and easy to follow. ”

”When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...
