It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.”

”My family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). ”Nice layout. Sizable dining and living rooms areas. Bedrooms, bathrooms, closets were nice size. Mud room type area upon entry was great. Nice fire burning fireplace. Some issues with cleanliness in bathrooms, but not terrible. Biggest problem was the fire alarm was chirping and 15+ feet up a wall. No one would come to fix it the first night and I certainly couldn't reach it. It was a terrible sound to deal with all night. Had driven hours and then was very challenging to be able to doze off...

”We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need.
